I take my turn on the pitty potty.
But if I spent all my time there, then yes my life would be a shambles.

I don't mind if folks come to WP and write about how much their life sucks. I see that they usually get some fair responses, although sometimes I think a few of the posts area bit too generous and sorta enabling.
But then, I could be wrong!

The fact is, for me, this place is not only somewhere we can connect and understand ourselves better... it's also a place we can vent without having someone in our face(literally) telling us to get off the pitty potty.

Hopefully WP and the people here actually help some members to move up in their lives.
Kinda hard to tell when it's all virtual.

I just like being hopeful, I guess! :D

arent u in seattle? lol it rains everyday!

No, my ultimate goal is to live in Seattle. I'm on the border between Texas and Oklahoma.

I just moved from Houston, and jogging there in the middle of August is dangerous (very hot and humid).

I'm in the Seattle area, and in my experience, you more or less get used to the rain. It is seldom very heavy, more often like a light mist. I remember when I first moved here, a co-worker and I needed to walk across the quad to another building for a meeting; when I told him I was going to grab my rain jacket, he laughed at me. Jogging in the rain is no big deal here.

To the OP: I may have weakness, but I am not weak; I suggest you study like a scholar and learn yourself the difference between the two, for that difference is paramount, and also descriptive of many members of this community. As I look down from my balcony on Mount Olympus, I glean that weaklings are rare on the Wrong Planet, though folks with weaknesses are not.

Good fortune,

People are entitled to feel bad every once in awhile, as strange as that may seem to some. There's many here who have no other outlet; getting feelings out is important in the long run. If you go through all the sections instead of just this one, you'll see that the same people who talk in here often talk in other threads. Many also offer advice and/or well wishes around here as well. People are not limited to what you view them as. And for all your whining (which is what you say you dislike, but you do it anyway), a lot of people don't complain that much, nor would it matter if they did. I doubt you're being forced to read these topics; if you do not like them, do not read them. It's as simple as that.

Indeed. To be perfectly honest, I've yet to see a gentlemanly post.

Also, I think you're taking the NT thing a little too far. I mean, sure, we live underground, ravage your crops, and mutilate your cattle, but we're not that bad.

It's the cattle that's the problem. Really, we'd be perfectly in harmony if it wasn't for the cattle. Couldn't you just torch our houses instead?

We'll hold a caucus on that later this month. To be honest, the cow thing hasn't been working out. Too many NT's end up being kicked.

But in regards to the author, you're defining people by their behavior in the Haven and their occasional feelings of weakness that we all experience.

what is wrong with people needing support on here?
not everyone is at the same stage in life [or diagnosis],not everyone have had a good life or success so they should not be expected to keep it all in for the sake of annoying someone who could easily just stay out of this board and use the rest of wp anyway,it can be a matter of life or death for some people because not everyone can communicate in the same way verbally as they do in text form and some people cannot trust new people to go to them for help.

don't like that people are having a hard time and talking about it no matter how silly it might seem? who cares, not their problem.
they might be better or improved later on sometime, who knows-should be allowed to think and say what they want if it helps them get there.

If we can't talk about our problems sometimes, they will sit inside and fester and cause real havoc.

For your information I am getting out of the house more. Not that it is any of your business.

Everybody needs a safe place where they can relax, air their frustrations, complain, cry, or find support. Not doing so builds pressure. That kind of pressure leads to meltdowns.

You wouldn't go to a support group for suicidals and say "chin up! get a life!" would you?

Jeeze goatman, why are your posts so... dominating? All the time you write posts where you talk about committing violence, and your hatred, often you write posts that do nothing but make people feel bad about themselfs and about you. People come on here for support, and I have seen you multyple times posting your horrible posts obviously also looking for support. I think you really need to think about your motto a bit more because you are often very rude, inconsiderate and I get the feeling you think you are somehow better then others or all on here, its quite horrible man.

I come on here to shair my experiences in life, maby learn about a few others and their experiences, as well as both seek advice and maby give some if the post applies to me somehow, if you dont like it go somewhere else, simple as that.

I think you have more issues then many others on here, im willing to bet you too are also dependent on someone for your survival, thats cool, many people are, and I know I was, so why are you gettin on others backs about it??

I think you need to reflect on yourself, and how you treat others, and I thought I was bad as a child, you are even worse then I was towards people when I was little, much much worse, and tho I did not intend to be bad, I too pissed people off, but somewhere along the way learned thats not how you act around others, indeed many are in different stages in their lives and it seems to me you still act like a bully, a child, and ill bet you got your ass kicked plenty in your life as a result.

I like talking to people on here, and if you were alot nicer I would enjoy talking to you as well.

What's weak about asking for help when you're feeling low down? It's logical to ask for help if you need it. This thread is kinda offensive.
