Why can't you get a job or go to a library?

Nobody *can't* make friends. I have the absolute worst social skills ever, and for some god awful reason I'm able to make some friends. I don't know how.

Does she even have a good reason for it? Most adults want their 16+ year olds to get a job, I don't understand..

And not letting your child go to a library? that's ridiculous..

She won't let me get a job because I might hurt people.

Don't ever think that you're life is as bad as you're making it out to be. You have a lot of reason to celebrate who you are. You're unique. Well...sort of. I mean people in your life will always be there for you, and here's a thought, God may not want you to be in that school. I want to find out who runs that place and who said that people with a learning disability can't come to it. That's messed up. But, remember, God has a plan for your life, always remember that!

Reminds me of a biography I read. If you want to read about some one who was really messed up, get a copy of "Run Baby Run" from the library (ask you Nanna to get it). Its about a guy who was a New York gang leader who turned his life around. He says at one time he was told, if its God's will that you you should go, I hope He makes things so hard for you you have to leave (or something like that). While the book in parts goes over the top about praying and such, its amazing if you don't loose sight of the fact that he is writing about things that actually happened.

At some point, you need to leave the house. She's not going to be around to "keep you from hurting people" forever. It's a lot better if you do it now, while you've got some kind of safety net.

Berserker,

We're not sick of you and you obviously have friends online.

Do you think your mum is over-protective or do you think that you really are dangerous and should be kept away from people?

and if you do think you're dangerous - why - have you hurt people in the past - recent or ages ago?

(you don't have to answer any of this if you don't want to).

I hurt people in high school, because they angered me.

You know, if I told mum about my depression, she'd ban me from the computer. And if I told my nanna, she'd tell my mum. That means I have no one offline to talk to...

Have you thought about home schooling (distance education)?

this is possible - http://www.openaccess.edu.au/courses/who_can_enrol.html

you may be eligible for Centrelink or abstudy benefits. You or your mother may want to talk to Centrelink. I don't know exactly how it works, but I expect you could get to know other students on-line.

Could be interesting. Could be good for your future. :D

I know what would cheer me up. My favourite video game song.
