I think this thread should be moved to somewhere where it won't be noticed :?

Maybe, but the word 'ignoramous' about my topic wasn't very nice. :(

Well, I've got to go. I have a phone call. TTYL

That's a side of you I never realized you had. Although I think Happy Tree Friends is pretty funny so that's not a bad thing at all. I've never seen Charlie & Lola.

I always got the impression that you were one of the more noticeable members here. It's not like you were just another introvert.

There's always the question of signal to noise ratio, too. In popular threads people are less likely to read every post or reply to every post.

Try not to feel particularly discouraged by it.

I often feel ignored on here as well.

I don't know how anyone can feel ignored here. At least one person typically answers every thread. But then, I'm content to blend.

I often feel ignored on here. Once, when I was really depressed, I posted about it in the Haven. I was hoping to hear from some people that I counted as friends, on here. But they ignored me! Although I did get some kind responses from others, I was really hurt that they didn't say anything to me, not even in a pm. People will never cease to amaze you, I know that!

Okay, I'm feeling better now. I'd like to thank all of you for your support to help me through this. There are still going to be things that bother me on here, of course, but at least you were all here to help me through this. Thank you. :)

hartzofspace, that's awful of what happened to you! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Hopefully it won't happen again.

I ignore most posts I sift through there were 64 posts so faar today and yesterday there were 74 posts yesterday also you don't know who posted a topic in the rss feed

I filter posts like this
1 title news stories are almost always out
2 can I contribute
3 have i already posted to a similar topic
then after i click through I avoid 2 users (one endlessly complains and the other has an avatar that creeps me out)

I feel a little like Eeyore from Winne the Pooh fame; "Evvvveeerrrrrybbbooodddddyyyy Igggnnnnnooooorrrreeeeess mmmmmeeeeeee".

However, I am relatively new here and I find the amount of topics and activity a bit overwheming at times, so I am not surprized that some things get lost in the shuffle. Oh well, I am happy to contribute in my own way.

As a long-time gaiafag, I'm already 100% used to not being absolutely listened in any forum. Always. Gaia is so f*****g huge (twice as much as the city where I live, go figure) you have to be very, very loud to get listened.

Social walker,

It's an ASD forum, most people are going to be speaking at no one rather than a specific someone.

That is true. I think many people make a lot of one-sided posts. My posts are addressed at noone and dont often get responded to. But it is an ASD board, it will not be one of the more huggy boards, really.

Also, the boards to create an illusion of not being read or listened to, because you cant actually see other people reading your posts.

Yes, thank goodness its not too huggy, that can seem a bit false at times.

Good point.
