Thank you, Labpet.. he would appreciate both the card and flowers more if he could play in them :P He is looking better, and meds today were not as difficult.. I have tried rubbing his neck/chest but have you ever held an unhappy ferret? They just wiggle away! I've figured out that hiding his worst med in a LOT of food both fills his tummy and gets him what he needs. I smelled the stuff, it's like especially nasty cough syrup, so I can see why he doesn't like it!

I'm so sorry to hear about your doggy, I would react the same way.. the day I lost my cat was nothing short of awful, and I hate knowing that the day I lose my Waffle might be even worse.

I really liked that story.. I can tell if I make a weird sound(like if my boyfriend's tickling me) that Waffle gets a little worried.. he has a super expressive face, for a ferret, and he always looks at me when I talk to him, too!

Ferrets are so like dogs, and are very expressive, they have the sweetest ways of getting your
attention, mine will put a paw on my foot and look up at me and blink, which means cookie.
