The words "preggers" and "puter" should be punished with the death penalty.

Also anyone that says "pacific" instead of "specific".

"Upto"

ISPs abuse this all the time. "£50 a month for upto 20GB unlimited broadband!"

No, I'll probably get about 8GB and you'll throttle my connection if I download over 100GB in a month.

Which brings me nicely onto the next thing to ban: fair use policies. UNLIMITED IS UNLIMITED!

"only" when applied to a price for a product or service, such as "only $29,999.99 for this new plastic automobile!"

"he/she croaked" .... i abhor this so-called euphemism for death. to me it has even worse connotations than plain old death, it makes me think of a corpse in the throes of rigor mortis.

"No offense, but [insert obviously offensive comment here]"
Grow some f*****g balls/be a real woman and stand behind what you say if you're gonna say something that's obviously offensive.

"Define [word applied under obvious context]"
How about read it contextually and figure out for yourself what that person means by the word?
Say someone says all women are b*****s. Said person complains that since he's nice to them, that they owe him sex. That says a lot about his sense of entitlement and whom he considers b*****s. You don't have to ask him to get into a long winded list of things that define a b***h.

"Snap out of it"
When was the last time you ever snapped out of anything? Oh wait, all your old habits died hard. If you simply snapped out of it, then it wasn't that big of a problem to begin with.

"If you can believe it you can achieve it"
I dunno the original intentions of this quote, but the context people put it under gets on my f*****g nerves. How about finding good reasons to believe you can achieve something rather than just resorting to blind faith? Looks like a typical correlation/causation mix up.

"We have the best [whatever they're promoting] in the world!"
That's what they all say. What the f**k makes you so much more credible?

"I'm so special!"
Yeah, you're so much more different than all the other people who think we're superior to NT's.

I hate those corny phrases trhat where corny on day one, yet people use them for years, such as when you ask somebody what day it is and they cant stop themselves from saying, "Wednesday, all day" or something similar.

"Cheer up, it might never happen"
Dont the mindless parrots realise the reason Iam so miserable is because Iam worried it might never happen?

I also hate the Sun newspaper where it misspells words to match the article they are refering too, might have been clever once, but this has been going on for years and years now.
