It's true, Sly, many people on this site DO like you.

I know that for a fact.

Even the moderators like you.

I think people think you're a cool guy.

You have opinions, yet you listen to other opinions.

There are people who disagree with you. But that's the way of the world. If everybody agreed, our species probably would stay stagnant and not evolve.

You don't shoot people down for not having the same opinions you have.

And you're honest about your opinions.

You're a person with whom people could have a decent conversation with.

Trust me: that's what most autistic people want: a person with whom they could have a decent conversation with. They want somebody who will listen to what they have to say. They want somebody to have a dialogue with them, rather than a monologue.

I've read some of your other post and basically I think no life is pointless. Their are plenty of people that fall in love everyday and who knows your day could be next Thursday. You never know.

I like this YouTube video and hopefully you will to. Oh and ignore the fact that he is over weight. I personally like his message.

Also I don't know what you look like, but I saw a couple earlier today and they looked happy. Neither was slim in size but it didn't seem to matter to them. What I'm saying is that size doesn't matter. I used to think men had it made in that department, because I would see men of all sizes with decent looking women. But then I noticed women who where really overweight with slim good looking men. So it is just a matter of finding the right one.

Realizing that has helped me after my recent breakup. I'm physically fit and have been told that I am attractive, though not too long ago, I caught my self saying thing like guys only want a certain type of woman an so on. Overall, I stopped my complaining when I would see all the couples that didn't fit the cookie cut mold of our society.

to Sly- NOBODY has the right to make you feel bad about yourself, without your consent. you are just as much a child of the universe as anybody else, and you DESERVE TO LIVE without the pain you have described. no ifs, ands or buts. we each have our ways to avert pain, you have to find your own way. the most common way is to not be where pain happens. what the man above said makes sense, would you rather bear what you have, or fly to some realm you know not of? do you want to take that gamble? I hope not. to use a "let's make a deal" analogy, you never know what is lurking behind door#3.

Knowing Sly, he would have had the intuition to pick Door #3---which contained the Brand New Cadillac!

Door #2 would have contained a big chicken or something.

Door #1 would have been a lifetime supply of spaghetti sauce, plus maybe a $100 bill placed in an envelope.

I usually end up picking #2 in any case I repeat, US ASPIES NEED TO STICK TOGETHER!

I bet Sly would have liked "Let's Make a Deal." With all the people in those costumes looking silly.

He should watch some of those old shows. Like the "Partridge Family," or "The Courtship of Eddie's Father."

These were shows which made people happy.

Yep...Laugh-In. I watched it religiously from about 1969 on. Before then, I was too young to stay up for it.
