It does seem that dense cotton flannel would be a better material than linen, even if the thread count is high.

I've been making regular donations of food and sundries (toilet paper, sanitary products, paper towels) to my church where there is a donations box. I'm doing this because of Coronavirus but also because it is the Lenten season. I donate regularly and anonymously to other charities the rest of the year. Charity is supposed to be anonymous by nature, but in times like this I have told a few people about the church box so that they know how and where they can help. I think in this situation, it's valid to promote what we are doing so that others can participate too.

^ sure but then being clear about it (eg if anyone else also has supplies to contribute ) makes more sense than the bogus 'are black gloves allowed?' When health Canada clearly stated they are accepting any plastic gloves from dentists to nail salons...on news

I cut my hair just now. The stress of this was getting to me and I just chopped at it. The yucky parts (frizzy which nothing was helping) I finally chopped off and my hair went from below the shoulders to neck.

I need to get it evened out so as to stop resembling an escaped convict.


With the government urging us to stay home I remember the words of an Italian mayor (viral video):
'For what are you having hairdressers come to your home? Who will see you in your homes? You know when the lid of the coffin closes nobody will be able to see your hairstyle.'

The last bit wasn't translated in the subtitles but he had said it.

I cut my own hair even before the crisis, due to social anxiety and difficulty communicating with hairdressers.

I just ordered some scissors online to trim the split ends off my long hair. It is now long enough that it shouldn't be too hard.

Me too sly, I can hardly believe people suggesting we should put everyone at risk to keep wealth intact. Turns out dead people can't participate in an economy and the wealthy are not immune to covid 19.

Wealthy get tested while poor can’t wealthy get private rooms in hospitals and the best treatment if they get it, poor people get put in tents, or told to stay home.

It’s not even a week into most shut down and the right is demanding a stop and return to normal, just let whoever dies die.

The roads are as busy as ever.

I'm so freaking out from anticipating the catastrophe if the returning vacationers don't practice isolation properly.

If everyone just shut up.and listened for the recommended duration --be like a stereotypical autistic--- follow rules and stop socializing for a bit. Then cases wouldn't increase as drastically as they have been.

Then this could be over and done with sooner.

Too many People NOT listening to their prime minister is why it gets worse and worse.
They should use drastic measures like police watch.


Also consider the idea of it mutating to a stronger version.


Want to cut off more hair at the thought. I bet if I was wealthy as Michael Jackson I would be getting plastic surgery when stressed instead of cutting hair. I was just thinking about what I would have done. Thank God Im not. Also thank goodness I don't drink alcohol because if I allowed myself I would go crazy with it at this time. I know I have no discipline.
