I know the feeling, just try to live life in terms of your own beliefs, and nothing really changes.

That said, there isn't a huge distinction between nihilism and existentialism. Many forms of Nihilism are a bit thick, like asserting that language is invalid (which is an argument, if comprehended, is invalidated), but others are quite valid.
