Some crazy redneck turd decided to start a fire not too far away from my house. Good thing the wind is blowing it in the other direction. Looks like everything is going to be alright now. But still, that was too close.

I feel better after getting out today, having a nice laugh after a few laughless days (thanks to The Mother Tongue by Bill Bryson), and talking with my friend (the one on her way back to Japan, and the one I miss so dearly.)
