No Netflix account - am toying with the idea, but need to see if they have an Old People's Discount. Being an Old People, my income isn't so much fixed as it is neutered :pale:

I don't think they do, but I could easily be wrong.

I think basic Netflix is about $10 a month or so.

Yep, I am on a very tight budget, especially at this time of year. Phone and cable (wi-fi) are both senior discounted or I'd have to pick one and let the other go.

No worries. I stopped watching TV in the late 80s because it took over my life; I have more than enough entertainment via my laptop, and I read enough "news" stuff to see plenty of TV and film reviews. Life is good.

:!: :!:

You could get Netflix on your laptop. I just remembered that.

I don't watch many movies or tv, either, to be honest; just a few that I really like.

Kura, kraftie: maybe I'll try that! I have to look at my budget this year, I'm finally in "full retirement income" mode, and maybe I can do it. I've been in "starving til I can tap some funds" mode for more than 2 years, and that creates habits.

Hugs to you both - I'm going to be flitting in and out today and not on site much, trying to do some stuff.

My kitties are doing wonderfully... and I've been trying to answer that post for ten days. Yow. There are already threads about the problem and I posted elsewhere about it, but quick summary, kept running into phishing popups and could not get past them. Problem seems to be over now but it was worrisome!

How are :flower: you :flower: Kura?

I'm doing alright. I'm steadily working on Book VI. Oh, and I got accepted into this course that I'm not happy about; it runs for three months and starts right when National Novel Writing Month starts, and mum said that the course comes first. So I'm trying to write as much of Book VI as I can. [I'm almost done Part 2.]

Oh, and in video game news, I beat the fifth part of the ultimate dungeon in Rune Factory 4 a couple days ago, without even making any ultimate equipment. I also got the rarest item in the game, needed to craft some of the ultimate equipment, but I only need one. :D

If this course is about life skills? I think you were talking about something of the sort a couple weeks back? Try to stay with it; it could actually make publishing your work easier in some ways... look at it as an investment, that way?

The entire online universe by now knows that I know nothing and less than nothing about specific games; but I do know accomplishment, and this sounds like some pretty major winning. How many parts are there (I know difficulty does not increase linearly)? And serious congratulations on getting that item.

There's six parts; the sixth has Lv. 1,000 monsters. The other five have Lv. 300, 350, 400, 450, and 500 monsters. I'm only Lv. 250. I'm going to basically become invincible [hopefully] by fooling around with the crafting mechanic to make the ultimate equipment even more ultimate, before I challenge the sixth part. :P

Erm...no. I don't have any feminine wiles. Speaking of, why are there never masculine wiles?

I have a book to write, but I don't feel like writing...
