They don’t know how much part-timers would get.

What disturbs me is comments I see everywhere where it says "the disabled don't deserve the stimulus because they lost no income"

But by their logic, people currently working don't deserve it either...

And they all say the same thing too...

Disabled people deserve the stimulus because of the effects of all which is happening will have an extreme effect upon them. Money-wise, spirit-wise, etc.

Because I believe it is fair. I'm talking about the US supplement which is $1200 for people out of work.

People with high income have bills too. Bigger mortgages, bigger car loans, etc.

My point isn't to rescue the rich, it's that the idea of the stimulus is to compensate people who are out of work. Therefore it should apply for anyone who is out of work.

It shouldn't be going to people who continue to work, especially if they are breaking rules like gun shop owners were.

Those people get double money (pay plus supplement). It should be for those who are out of work, and definitely for the disabled as well. I would hope people who are exorbitantly wealthy would refuse the stimulus. Maybe I'm a dreamer.

Sadly... You are a dreamer. I know wealthy people (2) who have both said charity isn't worth it unless you can file it for tax return.

The politicians who used this pandemic to benefit from stocks, by delaying the message to the public--they were all already wealthy.

Anyway, what I'm saying will never happen anyway. edited to remove the religious thing in case it causes offense.

People making $99,000 or more as a single person, or $198,000 as a couple, get nothing.

My main beef is with the people who continue working and get a stimulus. I don't mean the doctors and nurses and caregivers, I mean the random people whose work has been unaffected who earn a middle income but continue to be supplemented on top of their pay. If the government stopped giving them a supplement, they'd have much more to distribute for persons on disability (first priority) and for people who make a higher income but are unable to work.

It just seems the money is going in the wrong directions.

I would hope that those treasonous politicians go to prison, and I'm sure the rest of the nimrods are on salary and won't lose pay regardless of their stock market crimes. They should NOT be supplemented. I was thinking of honest, hard working people with a decent / higher income like dentists. They're out of work and able to claim nothing.

Oh.. I was imagining politicians and elite people like that.
