Because I believe it is fair. I'm talking about the US supplement which is $1200 for people out of work.
People with high income have bills too. Bigger mortgages, bigger car loans, etc.
My point isn't to rescue the rich, it's that the idea of the stimulus is to compensate people who are out of work. Therefore it should apply for anyone who is out of work.
It shouldn't be going to people who continue to work, especially if they are breaking rules like gun shop owners were.
Those people get double money (pay plus supplement). It should be for those who are out of work, and definitely for the disabled as well. I would hope people who are exorbitantly wealthy would refuse the stimulus. Maybe I'm a dreamer.
It’s meant for low income people. Working or not.
My sister is working, but barely makes by and due to this virus has spent more trying to get food and supplies then she would have normally, now has credit debt she can’t pay.
That’s why they giving it to everyone. People over $100,000 have savings, valuable stuff, etc, they aren’t hurting as much, my uncle isn’t hurting during this, the guy at work isn’t hurting during this.
