I am considering leaving WP because I feel that I have not made much of a difference on here. I have made maybe one or two friends on here, but that's it.

I have tried to be a good role model by being as mature and goal- and career-oriented as possible, but that has not reaped any benefits.

So, I feel there's no place on here for me anymore.

I can be reached at my e-mail address, [email protected], on Yahoo or AIM at timhomer2002, and on MSN at timhomer2008.

Your my hero :(

How so?

Really?

Meanwhile, I sent my friend an e-mail, but I am still awaiting a response.

You're a welcome beacon, amigo. Don't underestimate your value, or the appreciation that may be unspoken.

Sometimes life gets away from us; there are friends who I lost contact with for years and years... eventually, we found our way back to our friendships. Don't despair.

You're a nice person, though you need to lower your standards for woman a bit

I haven't been on here for very long, but I've always enjoyed reading your posts. I would be sad if you left!

Tim, I've never seen you be anything else than polite and helpful.

You're a good guy. Don't sell yourself short.

I feel like I'm getting mixed messages from her.

Plenty of fish in the sea Tim. And when you find the right one, things will fall into place.

Yes she is.

I did try moving on, but everyone else I contacted blew me off after a while as well.

I have tried moving on, but everyone else I corresponded with blew me off for whatever reason. My correspondence with her has lasted a year. The next longest correspondence lasted 3 months. All others lasted only a few days.

The only current correspondence is with someone in another country who isn't a Christian.

Christianity isn't what it's cracked up to be. I know lots of people who are married couples with both partners being different religions.

In some ways, they're hedging their bets. At least one will either make it to the afterlife or come back as an animal or something.

A girl is still a girl.

The only way I can get a girl who is a Christian and watches South Park is--assuming that the fundies don't yank South Park off the air--the U.S. becomes a Christian dictatorship.
