There simply aren't enough active users for one to expect a quick response to any post. If there were somebody who was responding to all or most of your posts, they would probably make you uncomfortable.

when i said i didnt want fights, i didnt mean "i want to be agreed with". my friends and me disagree on many things. we cherish our differences as much as our simmilarities. that is part of appreciating each other. but. there is debate. heated as it can be, it can produce good results. and then there is a text fight. that is when there is no reasoning, no finding any sort of semibalance, nothing but escalating aggression. and that happens in certain topics more often, so i evade those topics. because, despite being very apt for a fight, i resent it (despite what some people might have thought recently). i choose to not engage whenever i have a choice. no truth to be found. and i am short on spoons (energy/time/ whatsoever). somebody has to stay in medblock and patch the fighters up, after all))) and i choose to be that somebody xD

I'm starting to think I'll quit using anywhere online for everything.

Use reddit for football. If it's something liable to offend everyone, keep it offline. If it's something liable to make me laughed at, same.

Use WP for generic autistic things I assume Americans can relate to.

If it's more specific than that, ask my parents or other people I know face to face or try and figure it out on my own.

Reddit makes fun of me if I act too autistic. WP ignores me if I act too Scottish.

It is Reddit's fault but heck, the world's ableist/snobbish. It's not really WP's fault, most people on here genuinely can't relate, but it annoys me when the best Celtic captain ever dies and nobody cares to offer condolences.

I feel like I need to express my every thought but that's probably more what a diary is for than the internet and expecting a reply from other people.

I just wish my stepdad would be that stand in for when I do want someone to talk to.

I don't mind it if you act "Scottish."

It's just that there are terms which are Scottish which people outside the area really have no clue about, unless the person takes the time to Google.

There are Scottish movies where they have to use subtitles. It doesn't mean there's anything "wrong" with you. It's that Scottish English is a dialect which has origins elsewhere than regular "standard" English. There's lots of Norse origins because you're in the north. There's also lots of Gaelic.

I enjoy learning new things myself.

I hope you are not deterred by the ignorant few here.

I think the trick is trying not to let the world get to us, right? :)

I like the northwest mountains of Vietnam, the vast expanse of Mongolia in the summer, the stark beauty of Iceland.....that's the world, too.

it's not just people.

I've not seen much of the world, but Florida and Georgia has beauty too. The pine trees, white sandy beaches, wetlands, farm fields, dirt roads, etc. North Georgia also has some nice mountains, and most people in Georgia are neighborly and friendly, even if they do come across as ignorant.

I can't wait to move back home. :)

I love cherry blossom trees like across the road from where I grew up, we had a field there.

And we had a twisted tree which I could climb up and hide in and listen into conversations of people as they passed haha.

And the field had a hill. I used to climb it, get a swing there and look at the sunset. Every day I had to go there, to see sunset. I tried to catch it :)

I used to climb a tree and hop on the shack next to my nana's house eating pecans that fell on the ground as a kid.

I used to play in the woods behind my house... until they tore it all down recently.

I also used to wrestle in the yard with my brothers and sister, and walk along the railroad tracks up the road collecting old rusty railroad spikes.

I miss my childhood.
