I had no idea who Ricky is, I looked online on my phone and came across a web blogger who mentioned Ricky and Lucy in one of his posts. There were links on his Blog to Ads. The Ads were looking for people to write blogs, host Company's Ads on their Blog, and make money writing their Blogs. (The Ad Company pay the Blogger)

Just a thought.

...Niw I'm going to, again, defend myself somewhat.
About the glasses:
As I said, I am uncertain what, if any, glasses places that are reasonably accessible there are in SC, and, yes, prices if you walk in off 5he street minus - And, speaking of " off the street ', maybe they'd be nasty/dismissive to me :( . And, J doubt it would be a " si.plw ' eye test for glasses, after not having one for a 2 b Ile. And, I have no I e WVER who will drive;tame me, bar an expensive taxi..

...Now, getting around. Yes, I do walk around. BUT IT HAS SKOWNESS/PAIN%DISCOMFORT WITH MY CHF AND HAVING TO CARRY THINGS ARIUND AKL DAY! I have SO MUCH gone that I would need to replace for a " nor am " life, too :(.Walking a couple blocks is straining, often, anyway. And there is my sleepiness and exhaustion/grogginess from my not enough sleep, and strain! :( Many recent days, I have spent much or all of the day confining myself to, more or less or totally, one downtown block - get rest/sleep at a lot where they generally tolerate the HL hanging around, get my " other " meal, use what Wi-Go I can pick up - the WF at the shelter is busted now - not do a long, staring, walk (and spend money, perhaps). The shelter curfew, too.
For computer skills, no, I don't have a better-than-this-phone thing to play that video on repeatedly with no ear buds, and a comfortable place to sit, alone, & something to practice on. I do not - or super basic computer stuff that a video wouldn't mention :(. And my present glasses lack/eyes state. Reading what I post can be quite difficuf :(! People focus on " the most optimistic possible circumstances " as if they were the only ones that could happen, and they get insistent about that :( .l

.. I have also been trying to contact the two current possibilities for help with the gone ( windfall & thriving cousins) money, without pushing too much, and trying to contact the NYS lawyer for money (He can be non-responsive for a while), I am running low.
Basically all my outside clothes I've had on for a week-plus?? now - There's clothes in the storage space which need washing. Doing so would require two round trips to the space, at least 50% by taxi. Curfew. remember?
I got put out of the hospital early that recent night, and slept by the river (I'm back in the shelter now) but it was a good sleep and I did get a new crutch at the hospital.

Lucy and Ricky were a married couple who starred in the TV show “I Love Lucy” back in the 1950s.

Lucy was always begging Ricky for help for things. She sometimes got dramatic about it.

YouTube how-to videos are a way of having things explained that one can access at anytime anywhere. It was just something that was brought to you attention.

One on one someone sitting next to you computer lessons / tech tutoring, you said you want so badly, is available at the public library.

Prescription eyeglasses, you said you want so badly, can be gotten at Target in the Capitola Mall you said you frequent.

That stuff is important to you, stuff you have made a big deal over.

However it is no big deal to anyone else whether or not you get glasses or computer lessons or whatever.

You can use your phone! You don’t need a separate computer to learn from the video.

That's fine. No one cares if you watch a video or not.

You can have a librarian show you stuff on a library computer of you want. That's up to you. It doesn't matter to anyone else whether you do that or not.

...Tbank you for the information re: Target.(Rather a walk inside the mall once you get there, then inside the " Tar-Jay " you can use their .otorized wbeelcarfs. Presuming its accuracy, when. I have enough cash (I am running low, now - thataundry-taxi-storage journey might take - downwards of, I. guess - $100.), perhaps...My other points remain. I don't think the everyday li radians at the SC Main are eager to give from-basics computer fa re, may a aren't mag-fond of me, whatever classes there may be - my sleepiness/exhaustion/some pain in getting around, my perhaps " wrong " knowledge already and perhaps other people disliking an obviously HL a d " mentally ill " classmate :( .
I spent enough time in the downtown drop-off area to-day that I felt unable to go to the library as I'd planned, feeling not enough to.e to go;spend a tough time/go back by the - chfcew, re.ember - time. I didn't go to the Subway and use the overlapping WiFi available, fitfully, there. I bought a Sunday paper - the SF Chronice this time, not the local Santa Cruz Sentinel .

Why do you keep your dirty laundry in a storage locker? Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to go to a laundromat every few days, or once a week? Do you take a dirty load up every week for storage? How often do you collect the dirty clothes for washing? Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but that sounds very expensive, both in travel costs and quantity of clothing needed. (I guess I’m being overly curious. Sorry.)

If you can’t sit for an hour class at the library how would you sit if you had a PC of your own? And if your main library is like mine (big city too), they are very used to homeless clients.

Not a class. Just asking a librarian to give pointers. It's part of their job. They even advertise asking a librarian to sit with you and show you how to do stuff.
