My ability to be employed is what died.

Listen, Darrell, please please humour me. Get a pill box. You take 2 pills a day, right? Are they supposed to be taken at the same time of day? If so, you could just get a single row box instead of double AM/PM like mine. They're not expensive.

The thing with pills is that *nobody* can manage to take them when they should. Antibiotics are a good example. Everybody ends up on antibiotics sooner or later, and the dose is often "Take 1 pill 4 times a day." So i think, that's easy, mealtimes plus bedtime. But it doesn't work. I have to write it down on a piece of paper and I'm always surprised at how wrong I was. And most people have the same problem.

My point is, how come you can remember pills when nobody else can? Really, Darrell, I'm begging you, get a pill box. Please?

Sorry Darrell. I havent been feeling all that well today, and I am not posting as much, but I still want to reassure you that you are not going to be carted off to jail.

I am a fairly disorganized person too, but I have to take a little time regularyl to get things in order or everything is a mess. Like I have to make sure all of my art supplies and equipment are cleaned and put away, so I take a little time every day to do that even if I am tired. It should work for your pills. Once a week is all you need to fill the pill box, then you know if you have taken them. My mom has to do this too.

Maybe you are not keeping your medicine at proper levels and it is causing breakthrough symptoms.

Clonazapam is for panic and adjunctive schizo therapy. You are afraid of the police because you didn't take the clonazapam.

Darrell, guess what. I'm miserable. My life fell apart today. Guess how I feel about having spent 19 pages trying to help a guy who won't take his pills. I've even researched them for you. Take as prescribed, darn it! Every day, for a whole month! Would it kill you?

You want your mother back? Take your pills as prescribed.
You want the voices gone? Oh, they're already gone, I wonder why.
You want to stop being afraid of the police? Take your pills as prescribed.

Did you ask if you can have your meds as a shot once a month?

If you tell me you don't need them, or that you can afford to be casual about taking them, I'm going to flip my lid. Will you take care of yourself, for *** sake?

Are you worried that we'll abandon you if you're well? No we won't. Look at all the msgs - everybody's talking about all sorts of stuff.

I have to agree here -just in case you think we will stop talking to you if you feel better: I will still be on here checking on you- I promise.

It really does matter how regularly you take a medicine, especially psychotropics.
Even other meds- did you know women have gotten pregnant because they didn't take their pills around the same time of day? Not skipped, just too erratic with the schedule. That is why many have patches and hormone implants (IUDs). It is true- the hormone level has a chance to drop too much if the schedule is not maintained. Same with stuff that alters your brain chemicals.

First tell me if you've taken your medication as prescribed. Just yes or no, please.
