Here's three; I haven't read the third one yet, but I'll get to it today. Have you ever read the Sandman comics? The second one is all about Discworld DEATH meeting Sandman Death.

Thank you! I have "Adults In The Room" on interlibrary loan and I have to turn that around for them by the end of next week... so I'll be picking these up as part of my online breaks :-) and no, I'm not familiar with the Sandman comics, but I *think* I *might* have seen a few excerpts quoted here and there... the name rings a bell.

Thanks again :-) (this next one is just for giggles, what a cutie)

I finally got around to reading the third one, and...wow. It's so amazing that I'm going to print it out and stick it in my shelf right beside The Shepard's Crown. It's one of those rare, one in a million fanfictions that deserves to be canon. Now, you might not agree with me, but that's alright with me. :)

I respect your judgement greatly, TBH :-) and I will now save that for last, because it might overshadow the others if I don't. :-) Thanks for the tip, Kura!

:D You're welcome. I will admit, the third one made me cry, twice. But it was happy and sad tears. I'm a little afraid to read The Shepard's Crown [which I won't attempt until I've read and collected all of the others], because apparently it doesn't have an ending. I'd rather not be wondering about how it might end of the rest of my life...

Things have been pretty crazy lately. We've bought a house, and people are coming this week to look at ours, and I'm trying to write the first book of my new series, which I started a week ago [I'm at 20,000 words and counting!]

I've got an amazon shopping cart full of books...*sigh*

I think it'd be neat to have a cat named andromeda.

Here's some nice music to celebrate Esme's return [I've got about 25 pages of youtube links in a google document!]

They're absolutely lovely, Kura. Very spare - clean, I mean, not overcomplicated, you can really fall into them. The harp in the Princess Mononoke theme makes me think of Alice Coltrane, and that yearning violin theme is just beautiful. There's a koto in that one too, isn't there? Has to be. The Name of Life piece is something I like to listen to at twilight - not sunset, the blue time after - that's what it sounds like.

When I listened to "Where Wishes Come True" I was back in Narita sitting on the hillside under cherry trees, 21 years ago, a time when I was content and very hopeful. That's where I saw the nature videos - our hotel had them in the guests' breakfast room - this music reminded me so much of the soundtracks to those (and those soundtracks followed me out into the garden. I was there in early spring, yes, there were cherry blossoms.)

Thank you. I should have said something much, much sooner. Hugs. Just lovely. I have them all bookmarked now. Even without having seen any of the animes, the depth of feeling in this music is just overwhelming. Thank you again.

(edit in: I haven't read the fanfic yet    because I'm engrossed in Yannis Varoufakis' real-life horror story about the Greek financial crash... I have to get that back to the library. They let me renew it, but it's an inter-library loan and the other library will need it back. They are next up, after I finish this. It's a grim book, I'll want an escape after.)

The thing about Esmeralda....is that she has many files in her head....and she has been able to keep them available at a moment's notice.

I have lots of files, too. But they are not always available when I need them.
