A night school or you leave work for school?
If it is the latter, then how can you afford it?

I work second shift, so my mornings are free. A lot of the courses are online nowadays which is so great. Since I'm going for a degree, I qualify for financial aid too.

Who tells you to act like a "real man" just because you are on the spectrum? :?

I’m told I’m not because I’m not successful. I don’t work a real job, I can’t provide.
If I wasn’t born wrong and defective I’d be living a happier life instead of being alone forever.

You are a real man, Sly. You are helping provide for your family.

You have to stop listening to those schmucks who tell you that crap.

100%.

Don't fall for the rhetoric about what makes a man. You work very hard and you have a heart of gold.

Which is meaningless to most single women.
Ibe been alone for 31 years and I’ll be alone forever never experiencing love or human touch.

I know plenty of women who would disagree with that.

They like men who take care of their families; they find that very sexy.

I think the bottom line is: too much Internet dating sites. If I relied on those dating sites, I would think I had "no chance," too

I’m Not such a man. I couldn’t take care of a wife and kids. I can’t provide a middle class lifestyle. I’m not seen as loveable.

Most of us can't afford to do that, sly. You're not especially incapable. I work full time and only have to provide for myself and even that is a challenge considering how expensive life is and the fact that I'm in the 2nd year of an apprenticeship earning the amount of money that ~18-20 year olds should be earning and I'm 36. My nephews and God kids still love me. I bet most, if not all, of my family would say the same. Ditto for some of my friends - in fact, some of them tell me so.

So, there ya go sly, life is expensive and MOST of us can't provide dependents with a middle class lifestyle. But, people still love us anyways.

Lovely answer, Goldfish. I agree.

Off topic, but how is Baby Evelyn?
