You're blowing it out of proportion. Yes, you may be a little overweight but it's not life-threatening. It's just a little tub. And it makes you look feminine. :)

Pudgy bellies and ginormous thighs are NOT feminine. You're only allowed to have fat in your breasts, ass and hips. Anywhere else and it's seen as disgusting.

I know you hate your weight, and although I think you're attractive I'm not even going to bother to try and convince you otherwise, as it would be patronising.

You have to remember although it seems impossible, weight can be lost. You aren't completely screwed. Imagine if you were losing your hair instead?

If the weight loss is the main thing that is getting you down, I can try to help you. But it will involve some embarassing questions.

I agree entirely, but we won't get it for several reasons. 1, our population density is too low in most metro areas to make it cost effective

The main problem is that North America is not Europe. Public transport in Britain and Ireland is not that clever outside the major cities.

I do understand that. Believe me I know. trying to get around in the UK's countryside without a car is extremely difficult. But it isn't impossible. In parts of the US it's impossible. But part of what has caused the problems in Britain, is the fact they tried to follow the US model..I think that's that whole Beeching Axe thing..

the US used to have an extremely good train system, most towns had good electric trolly systems. but we allowed the Car, Oil and trucking companies to buy it all up and dismantle it all.

I know. I'm just frustrated and I needed to vent, basically. Weight loss is one of the main things getting me down. The others being the job search and not having a car. :/

Who sees it as disgusting? I don't and neither does your boyfriend. He sounds like a very satisfied customer to me. If I was him I'd want to feel it, touch it, cuddle up next to it.

You don't suck, Erisad. You're 22 years old and your life is just starting.

You have a BF who cares about you very much, you have a university degree. The fact you were even able to get a job so quickly is success in my book, whether you kept it or not.

This. You're clearly a very bright young woman. You've got it made. As long as you keep faith and your confidence, your life will be beautiful. Just watch. :)

Right but I was a moron and blew the opportunity because I had a f*****g meltdown at the office and hung up on a caller. :(

I would rather date intellect than a body that meets some society requirement. I have dated women of all sizes before getting married. Sex is over-rated in my opinion. You are not a leach, your employer paid into that fund and it is there for you.

I have been fired and escorted out of the building by security. I never did anything illegal or wrong. And I actually has a case against the employer but several attorney's told as a White Male chances are odd that I would win. Right does not always win.

Enjoy the time off and focus on your resume, and what you think you would like to do next. I know, much easier said than done. I am sure you still have nightmares about getting let go. It really is not easy. I am currently reading some books about Aspies and Employment and they are a great help.

ME. I see it as disgusting and it keeps me from being able to wear cute clothes. He likes my belly but I hate it when he feels it as it reminds me of how jiggly it is. :(

You are speaking to the master of work place melt downs here.
I was thrown out of the building with force in one instance.

Don't be so hard on yourself. YOU HAVE ASPERGERS. We have meltdowns, and yes, they happen in the work place. I have been shamed many, MANY times in a work place.

You have to hold your head high and keep going.

Then you've got to work out ways in which you don't find it disgusting. You need to feel more positively about your body.

I feel maybe I could have been helped if I told my employer about my AS but I was so worried that they would discriminate against me and treat me like a bigger idiot than they already were... *sigh* I can't really use them as a reference now because I'm known as the girl who cried at her desk and had the highest rate of transferring calls to a supervisor than they have ever seen.

No, actually. I'm in Pennsylvania. I don't really know what it is but after a quick google search, I know I'm not in one.

I am. It's called exercise and diet. If I change my body, maybe I'll like it better.

And what if you get to that stage and you still hate it? Your problem is not weight, it's body image.
