Expect that reaction from ANY normal person not interested in Pokemon (or whatever your special interest may be.)
...that said, it would've been NICE if she'd told you politely "it's time to stop" - but would you have listened if she did? She probably gave you the subtle un-spoken cues that she was definitely not interested but we all know how we Aspies can be and miss those cues entirely.

My Aunt who's 70, learned to play Pokemon because it was the special interest of her grandson who has Tourettes, and she became addicted to it
