I'm sorry that your mother is so horrible to you. Is there any way you can move in with your father?

Telling her son she's heard more than enough of his never-ending prattle about a Nintendo game is hardly "horrible".

Expect that reaction from ANY normal person not interested in Pokemon (or whatever your special interest may be.)

...that said, it would've been NICE if she'd told you politely "it's time to stop" - but would you have listened if she did? She probably gave you the subtle un-spoken cues that she was definitely not interested but we all know how we Aspies can be and miss those cues entirely. ;)

My Aunt who's 70, learned to play Pokemon because it was the special interest of her grandson who has Tourettes, and she became addicted to it :D So don't you believe your mother. Have you ever visited Pokememes? The humor is a little adult, but most of it comes from 20 something fans.

Yeah plenty of people like pokemon (its one of the biggest shows and has a fanbase with a demographic spanning a wide variety of ages), unfortunately parents can be difficult, they aren't perfect. Its okay for you to like pokemon, if you and your mom get along okay, just leave it alone.

You're 15, in a year you'll be able to get a job and in 3 years you'll be able to save enough money and move out (if you guys really don't get along).
