In case you lose the thread:

963 Mercer St!

It seems like they have lockers. You have to work for them for 2 hours a month. It's free.

No..it's Seattle!

They give you a lock.

GO , NO , taking a very long ride w/my ball & chain to Everett WILL MEAN NOTHING ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! They wouldn't know what I was speaking about .
Likewise , wasn't this whole " spare urban farmer's harvest " simply a " I heard there's some..." non-specific suggestion on your part ?

So email them like I've suggested a dozen times. You don't have to carry your luggage around to send an email.

No. It wasn't my suggestion at all. B19 (or whatever the username was) suggested inquiring about free excess produce on a website called freecycle. I simply agreed that it might be a good resource to try and see if you could get some better nutrition from for free.

...KK , the Mercer Street place is part of an organization I'm DEFINITELY on the outs with , they barred me from their tent cities , no time to go into it now , I'm on my " extra fifteen " of 'puter time now , and pushing my - 5:30 PM - curfew at the stuffy , cramped , shelter .
Gold , I still don't know if freecycle is here , or if anybody " delivers " - especially to an ecchy , not-cool , homeless person . :(

All right...I'll do some more research.

Have you done this already? You could go to 2-1-1 Resources Online, and sign up for it. Or you could call 211. Maybe they could tell you where to get a locker.

Too bad you're on the outs with the 963 Mercer St people.

what about your parents? try call them and see it they can manage to house you (again?) for some weeks?!
(I noticed you mentioning them around your operation) I've lived on the street for some five years when I was your age, eventually it could be a helpful relative to get you out of this mess.
try everything, even if you don't believe it will work

Is there any help that you are willing to accept that isn't a direct hand-out? After reading the thread it seems unlikely you'll be offered a place to live for free, free food and someone to do your bidding or get you around to do whatever you'd like.
Such is life.
I hope you work out how to start doing the basic tasks you need to make things better. Email places, contacting companies (apologising or making amends if you're 'on the outs' with them), and contacting people (family or friends) who might be able to help.
Maz

...Iam , telling someone to make endless e mails , which you didn't even do , is at best a suggestion , not help , and I don't see anything fitting your Ayn Rand not a handout concept offered either . You couldn't last 24 hours in what I have o endure , maggot !

Being rude to those offering advice/help is not going to benefit you or your situation any. Change your attitude and you might get more people willing to offer their ideas/help/suggestions/advice etc, or willing to spend some of their time researching other options online and presenting them to you here. But be a jerk to those trying to help you and it's not very likely that others will be willing to spend their time and energy trying to do anything for you at all.

No one has said to send endless emails. B19 suggested contacting UGM and you've made excuses why you won't based on your assumptions that they won't be able to offer you any more help than you have now. That's ridiculous considering all you have to do is send ONE email, not endless emails, in order to initiate contact with them and find out if they might be able to help you out with a better recovery environment than you're currently living in now.

I'm guessing that the poster you're replying to in this post meant something along the lines of "are you willing to contact any organizations offering help? because so far you're refusing to & thus it appears you're waiting for some sort of direct handout from someone that isn't likely to come."

Again, the more you're willing to help yourself (by contacting these agencies politely and exhausting all options) the more others will be likely to offer you additional help. But as it sits now, I don't really want to spend any time trying to find other resources for you since you're not even willing to contact the ones that have been suggested to you already - and I'm very sure that others reading this thread are going to feel the same way about it. Change your attitude and make every effort you can to help yourself and if things don't work out with those resources then perhaps some kind forum member might be willing to spend their time trying to find other options for you if you're unable to find them yourself. But as it sits, you're refusing to take even one simple step towards helping yourself by sending UGM an email and are now calling other members names. That behaviour is not going to help you one bit & no one is going to want to try to help you out if you're unwilling to do your part to help yourself.

Here's an extreme example that just happened to be in my facebook newsfeed right now:

http://www.cnn.com/2015/02/03/us/detroi ... index.html

This guy didn't ask for anything. He's been doing everything he can for himself by walking much of his 21 miles to work 5 days a week, in all weather conditions - in Detroit, for the last decade. People heard his story online when someone else shared it who was trying to raise $5000 for him to get another car & it made them feel for him... to the tune of donating $215,000 + offers of free cars. That is the power of the internet coming together to help someone who is truly willing to help themselves and shows it by their actions. Here's a quote that sums it up ""This money that is being given to him -- he earned every penny of it," Leedy said, just by his worth ethic and his attitude."

...I do , GO , have real experience of UGM - DO YOU ???????????
People make one vague suiggestion , expect you to follow it 100% & and never ask them for any extra details about what you're supposed to do , and just tell them how great they are .
What is this UGM E-dress I'm supposed to contact ? Is it actually a reaching-someone address or just what was listed in one product of a search ? Everyone in the universe , you may be suprised to know , does not spend all their time online , as WP Aspies (myself included) tend to , and , IF the e-dress reaches an important desk of someone , IF they could answer questions like that , and they were , IF , so inclined to answer a blind e-mail from someone they've never , to their knowledge , heard of ~ Lots of " if "s , huh ???
And I don't think it's a bad idea to compare it to where I am at already ! Why shouldn't I ? Are you frustrarted because I haven't said where I am to you (and I'm not going to) ?
I cough-cough-cough AGAIN AND AGAIN , and loogie and snot a fair amount too ~ I could use some help . If you want to help without involving material benefit or comfort for me , perhaps you could ghost-write letters to wherever it is you want me to send such letters to , me seeing and approving those letters and perhaps editing them before they're sent , so they're truthful , like a politican's speech written for him by a speechwriter ! I have just 90 mins time in front of a reliable keyboard every day and am a slow typist , not trained ~ How about that ?
I have probably walked an amount comparable to that man in Detroit , and I have just been rendered a full-fleged (if lesser) cripple - I only want a chance to recover a little from it  .
