People that correct your grammar aren't necessarily attacking you, they are doing you a favor. Learn how to write proper English already and stop harping on your grades, as if that means anything. I got sh***y grades and I managed to learn grammar somehow.

I've been the target of them cuz I'm dyslexic & have bad fine motor-skills with typing.

I am a total grammar nazi but I do it all in my head unless I am correcting myself. Than I really get infuriated. I can't tolerate it when I make a grammar error. I don't usually correct others out loud and I don't ever correct them on a forum. I feel that that is particularly rude because I have no idea if English is even their native tongue. I don't think it's fair to nit pick people if they are new to the language. But I can't deal with my own errors, they make me angry. I feel like an idiot when I make errors because I am old enough now that I should know the language.

I am a dyslexic typist as well. Sometimes I have to correct something I type multiple times. I wonder if it's an Aspie thing.

I am not sure about whether typing difficulties can be related to fine motor skills. But nevertheless I am not s good typist.

I have fairly bad fine motor skills.

Weirdly, I'm an excellent typist.

I hate it when people use incorrect grammar, but online I'm more forgiving towards common mistakes. It's when someone makes multiple mistakes in a post that is otherwise understandable that I correct them, and it's clear that English is their first language. But even then I try to be nice about it.

But when I see a post that's basically someone just typing the same way they speak...no. Just, no.

Oh, and I often correct my own spelling and grammar mistakes while I'm typing anything because a)I'll go nuts if I don't, and b)it helps me avoid those types of people in the first place.
