I've been there. Very dull. Not really offensive, just dull. No doubt I'll get accused of sodomising frozen chickens and all sorts now.

it does not look exactly like flaming to me, but I understand why you felt offended, most of us are very sensitive, I guess some people here gets annoyed easily, and some get offended easily, you know, the ones called aspies :wink:

I usually make a smart-alec comeback. Why just this morning some guy from a different forum called me "A disgrace to justice" and I replied "Really? I guess I'm doing my job RIGHT for a change!"

Smart comments like these are what they aren't used to and enough of them, in my experience, has them stopping because they aren't getting anywhere.

RedMage, I'd be pissed too if they said that to me. It's hard to be positive when you've had very little that is good in your life. They say that things get better when your attitude improves. In my personal experience that hasn't worked. I entered high school and college with very positive hopeful attitudes and look at where I am now. Right now there is a massive social function going on and I am hiding in my room because I overloaded.

Just try to ignore the flamers. Think about how pathetic they are to post something like that and you will realize that it isn't even worth a response.

I was disappointed. They had pretty much all the same official rules WP does. Some of the same members too. I would've gotten banned too easily for it to be fun.

Lol, what rules? It has no rules. No one has ever been banned from there, maybe you are thinking of another site, or going by the rules jargon you get when you register?

That's probably it. WP is the first forum I have ever been a member of so it's very special to me. I had no access to the internet at home and I am just discovering the wonders of it now in college.

If I went to Infinitysquared with the mission to get banned I would be so offensive I'd be worried that they'd track down my IP address and reveal my identity (believe me, you don't want to know how far I can go). They said something about how they put a cookie on your computer when you register. I'm paranoid.
