Don't give up hope Sly. Maybe a nice girl will turn up out of the blue when you least expect it. You can't predict when you'll meet her.

If he gets a master's in probability, statistics, and psychology he might be able to predict that.

The only people that could predict that, really, are those who have a PhD in Life.

I would like Sly to think of two good/positive things for every bad/negative thing he posts.

In fact, I make that a challenge.

I know that it seems like certain people are trying to tell you "buck up" or "grow a pair"; it might be that what they fail to present in a positive light is that the world is not built for us and we need to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps in some situations. We also need to lean on each other in a lot of situations because divided we will DEFINITELY fall. I feel your pain, I know what it's like when the world seems out to get you and I can tell you that standing up tall and looking it dead in the eyes is going to get you farther than allowing it to beat you.

At any rate, people here at WrongPlanet could stand to be more understanding and spend the extra two minutes or so to articulate themselves in a more helpful and supportive manner. When one of us is feeling weak, it won't make us stronger to shame them. It doesn't matter if it was intended or not. Positive advice given with careful consideration of the language used is not going to kill you.

I pay great attention to the language I use when I offer advice.

I was not referring specifically to you.

I bought two new shave soaps and a new shave brush I shouldn't have. But I love the black cherry soap it's so yummy smelling and performs great. The cocoa forest I'm undecided on.

I now have 7 brushes and 17 soaps and cream.

^ Mmm, I imagine those scents smell delicious! Are they just for face shaving, or can girls use them too?

They're just shave soaps. Both women and men can use them. Need a brush though.
There are some shave soaps specifically marketed towards women, but it's just scent and packaging.

My favorites are the banana, almond or fruit loops scented soaps.

I could advice your more if you want.

Oh okay, I've never used shave soaps or a shaving brush before. I just use regular soap.

Hey Sly, maybe you should message that girl from the other thread who's from your town .

Surely not.
I'd like to think only the seriously deranged dog people would do that :eew: [/quote]

Many people really do love their dogs.

Sometimes, they're even allowed to sit by the dinner table.

I've even heard of people allowing dogs to sit on a chair and eat with the family!
