exactly as I described, not going into too much detail for obvious reasons.

OK, due to my literal-mindedness, I can only guess what you mean. You want me to go elsewhere?

prego :flower: yes, some people just don't get how damaging it is to fragile psyches to take away hope, to smash hope, to totally disrespect hope with malice aforethought. [or maybe they DO get how damaging it is and do it in spite].

Maybe I've flicked 4 Beatles too many for his liking. I don't always agree with him, but I hope he comes back.

Your advice wasn't actually logical, or always rational, and a lot of the time it was just plain patronizing and bullying.

I don't think you're like Jesus or anything near what people are making you out to be. It isn't like you're dead either, I don't know why people are making you out to be the Holy One, you're nothing special and neither is anyone else here.

I don't think you're the wise example that people should follow. I don't think questioning peoples' self-diagnosis when they're going through a crap time is the way to treat people. I don't think following people around and winding them up, and getting away with it by taking advantage of the rules system is the right way to treat people either.

Peoples' responses here have pissed me off a bit, after all the people Fnord has been horrible to, you all make out he's great and wonderful.

And FYI, Logical and rational <> Aspergers. It is in no way *near* related to AS.

As far as I'm concerned you were like a prison guard frantically trying to hold his position by hiding behind rules while putting down other people and generally being a dick.

I think saying this when he isn't here isn't good IMO. It would be better if you had actually said this when he is still here.

Meh. I've walked away from WP for months because of Fnord. Same thing for the moderator who used Peter Griffin's dog holding a glass of martini as his avatar. To me they were both rude as f*ck.

Fnord said his "activity on this website would be minimal" so he can comment if he wants to. I think there were good things about Fnord and he could be a bully.

I did, a few times.

In all honesty, it was more the responses on here that got me typing that out. Even though I should expect it from people by now, it never ceases to amaze me how people will look up to a bully. No matter how much they discuss how they hate bullies, someone acts like one and because they act that they're better, people believe it. I just can never get past that.

Having said all of that though, honestly, truly, I think he was part of this place. He didn't add hopes and dreams to people here like everyone is making out (which is so saccharine), but he certainly made this place interesting.
