Well, I have had a crappy start to the new year.

I was walking in the park on Thursday & had to take a leak. I look down to cover up the evidence to see red snow with the yellow. That can't have been from me, I thought. Got home, went again, complete with non-dispersing drops of blood in the toilet. WTF? Uh-oh!

In the mail that same day was a flyer - "See red? See your doctor." Saw that after going to doctor. Now I have to wait until the end of the month, fretting away, until I see a urologist.

And last month I had a hearing test. I now sport a pair of flashy hearing aids. Although I doubt I'll wear them much...

Ouch!

Blood in the urine. Been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. In my case, it was kidney stones. Dr. Put me on Rapaflow and Urocit-K. My PCP already had me on Farxiga. I was allergic to all three. Also had laser lithotripsy to break up the stones. After a week stay in ICU, they discover I have colitis after doing a colonoscopy. I still have the scars from the rash, due to the allergies (and all that from 4 years ago.)

The hearing aids are no problem. They are there to help me, not anyone else. If they have any issues, I don't care.

No pain, just wondering what it could be. Thursday's mail came with a flyer "See Red? See your doctor." It was all about Bladder Cancer! What timing! I hope it isn't that, as years ago I vowed not to take treatment if I ever get cancer. So...

So true.

I have to wait to see a urologist. But all seems ok once again. :?

I had decreased intake of coffee for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be normal once again. Who knows!?!

Cripes... I called the urologists office to see about getting in earlier & completely lost it.

She said she hated something like that bladder cancer flyer!

IF I had googled BEFORE I called the doctor and IF I didn't;t get that flyer, none of this would be happening now. The website I landed on stated, "If you have blood in your urine, wait a couple days. If it is still there, call the doctor." I haven't seen blood drops since.

So... I am probably going to be OK. Now if I can just stop losing it. I think I am OK now.

Funny when you can see the end coming...

Blood in the urine doesn’t necessarily mean bladder cancer. I had blood in my urine (which I didn’t even see, but when I went for my quarterly glyburated hemoglobin, A1c, and lipid panels, as well as urinalysis (since i’m Diabetic) back about 4 years ago, the lab found blood. My PCP at the time, booked my into radiology for a sonogram. He saw 2 kidney stones, as a result, referred me to a urologist and had the lithrotripsy. You might want the urologist to test for kidney stones.

You're as welcome on WP as anyone else who isn't an insidious troll.

"Meh" is actually not bad----it's neutral, rather than really sad/depressed....

"Quite a few?"
And they actually named you and said you're not welcome?
That would be bullying and I hope you reported it if that's the case.
