Well, I guess you have to get to know them first. I'm not sure how it works, exactly. Anyway, it was just a thought.

If you want suggestions of nice places to visit in Wales I know many nice places as I live in Wales. I have been over into England a few times and once into Scotland, but I am much happier and relaxed to travel through Wales. One thing you would need to point out is how you would be travelling if you came here. A car is the best way as one then has more access to reach into more remote and beautiful areas, but if by train then I do still know a few lovely areas to visit. There are also busses, though generally speaking, most bus routes seem to follow the general areas that the railways go except the busses do have the advantages of not being too confined to following rails! A bicycle is another idea, but Wales is actually quite big... If the hills were flattened out it would likely be the size of England. The main issue for cycling is that certain rural areas one may have a good 40 miles of cycling to get to a decent shop.

In general though, there is so much to see in Wales... I have lived here all my life and still have hardly seen half of it and I love driving through the more rural parts of Wales.
Something many people who even live fairly close to it (As it took me about 38 years of living only 20 miles away from it before I found it where when I tell others hardly anyone knows it is there)... Is that Wales has mainland Britain's only turlough. It is right next to a lovely quarry which has been opened up to the public to enjoy. Well worth a visit.
