Yes, the chamomile tea Sweetleaf mentioned is helpful to some. Another sleep aid is to put a few drops of lavender essential oil and a few drops of chamomile essential oil on a cotton ball under your pillow. (This is aromatherapy.)

However, my insomnia is more intransigent than that and I suspect yours is too, Marknis.

Please keep updating us about your progress. I know this is a tough time for you.

Keep up the effort and remember that anyone who is a detractor to you should stop! :D

I’m now getting three parts of my brain treated with the magnet and for a longer duration.

My younger brother and sister in-law have recommended chamomile tea to me. I am considering trying it because the root of my night waking is probably the seroquel.

Only ever heard of 2 parts of the brain being treated at one time , and that is Only under certain circumstances .
Normally only one area of the brain is treated . Have to wonder . ?

Good to hear how you’re getting on. Been wondering and hoping all’s okay. Hope the chamomile helps you with the sleep issue.

BTDT (in my 30s). I was on a cocktail of meds - one in particular to combat the Seroquel effect you mention. It hadn't occurred to me to find natural remedies, so neat if you find something!

I am fortunately going off the seroquel. I hope it will make my head feel better.

You're lucky you get to do TMS treatments. My insurance won't cover them.

^^
That's too bad. It's the same with me, my own insurance, and plans for a VNS implant (for my epilepsy)
that won't happen.

I had really bad withdrawal from a med - the two times I weaned slowly off it. Was it the Seroquel? I don't remember, but that strikes a bell. Or Depakote? Just in the unlikely case you have a really bad two days or so, give yourself a pass and get through it. Or this is completely irrelevant b/c you metabolize the med differently or it's a completely different med. I try.

As far as herbs for sleep go I also like eleuthero & skullcap.

That sucks. I honestly wish that those of us that work in healthcare like myself should automatically get free health insurance. That would make my life so much easier.

Public healthcare would make everyone's life so much easier, but as long as a social safety net is conflated with communism poor Americans will suffer to appease ignorant Americans.
