An urban area of Texas?

Not trying to “pin you down” to a specific locale.

Thank you again for all of these kind replies.

I really don’t have anyone irl, so it’s nice to know that anybody cares even if they are just strangers online.

Congratulations, you just gave WP our new slogan for 2021.

That seems to be the one uniting factor with many of the WP users, not all of us but probably more than half.

Have you ever consulted the Autism Society of Texas? This would be the way to get to know Texas autism resources, or resources for people with disabilities in general.

How was your day at work?

I have not, I will though. I just now got my official dx finally this fall!! ! So I finally have official paperwork to document all of my dx’s.

Today was less catastrophic than yesterday. I learned that what they did to me, they did to 150 ppl...that is horrifying! So I’m just gonna keep going until I get fired.

Look for another job in the meantime. Don't quit this one until you're sure you got the other job.

Have you thought about applying for a Civil Service job? You get excellent benefits---and, once you get past the six month or one year probation, you have excellent job security.

I'm a civil servant.

Yeah....like USPS (that's Federal).

But maybe you could work for the State of Texas, or the City of_______, or the County of________

You might look through the above website. It looks like all the state programs related to developmental disabilities require documentation of the disability before age 22. And there are long wait lists.

At least one program looks like it does not have the "before age 22" requirement and may provide some assistance for living in the community.

Well lots of businesses , have a high turnover rate , they plan for it , they actually have burnout schedule for approximately how long a employee will last , call centers have a notoriously. High turn over rate .
It’s like you throw a bunch of new employees into the job and just see which ones stick around for it .
Burnout schedules usually show up in many basic job startups , even the post office has a burnout rate figured into the equation of getting new hires . Even before people are quitting . Used to be in boiler room call centers you could practice you technique with other call center employees or at least get advise .. on what might work with calls.
“wing it till you get it “ :ninja:
