It seems ASD goes hand in hand with health problems, weakness in the gut-brain axis has been implicated in the possible etiological causes of autism behavior and brain development. I truly believe its full body disorder and not just a quirk of the personality, or different "wiring" , it goes deeper, our health seems to be somehow fundamentally compromised. ASD is just the side effect.

That is a point worth nothing.

The Doctor who gave me the diagnosis for fibromyalgia and ME/CFS around 16 years ago said at the time that he would not be at all astonished if it was eventually learned those 2 apparently individual things were symptoms of a single thing which was happening deeper, something more core.

I was married at the time and for a reason I still do not know his saying that absolutely infuriated my wife.
What? Logically it is entirely possible; and either it is or it isn't the case, and right now we don't have enough data to be ultimately confident either way, so, what's the controversy, why the hate?

It’s a frighing toss up , if the symptoms are a matter of one condition or are symptoms the product of ASD issues , I think . Am thinking might be one issue or the other .???? Just sayin ? Anyone of those diagnosis , ME or what not are a difficult issue .
