Whats a uni?

University.

Ah, I thought so.
Well I hardly got through school, my grades were terrible. I just finished my senior year before summer, and I still havn't technically graduated. But one thing is for damn sure, I aint going to school ever again, especially not college. If I didn't even successfully make it this far, what chance do I have in college?

Did you ever consider enrolling at a community college? They have open admissions and they often have programs that allow high-school age people to take classes. It's fun and looks great on your transcript if you decide to apply to a four-year university.

Maybe your depression is due to boredom and inaction. If all you do is play video-games, then there's nothing to stimulate your mind and get it working. Find a good book and a topic that interests you and pursue it. I love science, so much of my homeschooling time was spent obsessively pouring over books by Sagan and Feynman.

What makes you say reading will stimulate your mind but a game cant?
I don't get bored playing games, but I can easily get bored reading, so how am I stimulating my mind if I am bored?

I don't think there is a community college here...

Well I hate to say this, but if homeschooling has proven to be entirely unproductive in your situation, maybe you should attend public school.

The school doesn't want me back, and I get too stressed out there, and hurt people.

You could always try to study and earn you GED and completely skip school in the first place.

RedMageIngus,

I know not how encouraging these words will be to you; probably negatively... But, I am a tad over twice your age. And never, in my entire life, have I known a human who is able to understand me, or has not presumed to understand me only to constantly mis-understand me. I've been fooled into thinking otherwise a few times in my life; but these cases always turn out to be false, some quickly, some only after years... And I know, the one thing I know and can share with you, is that feeling of being utterly alone. You are one of a kind; I am one of a kind; and in finding ourselves born into this state, the loneliness of the situation can become a great pressure that squeezes us more and more over time until we are finally crushed... Or perhaps not.

"So mis-understood..." I read the subject of this thread and thought, "There is a mantra for my life..." And I see you, another unique spirit alone in the darkness, as I am; and I cannot reach you, anymore than you can reach me. But perhaps, just perhaps... Knowing you are not alone in being alone may make you feel less alone? It would be a strange, circular thing... But just maybe it could bring an uplifting thought. And as I am alone, ever to be mis-understood... And as you are alone, ever to be mis-understood... Know that there are many more like us here, on the Wrong Planet. This then is something of a gathering place for people to be "together" with others who will always be "alone". 'Tis a strange thing to ponder, and a strange fate to have to suffer for those who might always wonder... Why? What did I do to deserve this fate? Why am I here where I do not belong? Why am I an alien among my “own kind”? There is much to be said of the absurdity of existence in this life…

In any case, I wish you well, as I sit alone and mis-understood along with you...

Good fortune,

- Icarus defies analysis...

The opposite for me. I have always thought of myself as direct and straightforward; I am not difficult to understand if you are willing to make an effort. It's everyone else that I don't understand.

All the friends I have now were just friends of my old friends that I met through them.
So the only way I can suggest how to get friends is, have friends in the 1st grade.
