Glad to hear you went to see the doctor, Nico. I hope that works out well for you. :)

(well a few others are part of that reason-you know who you all are)

Same goes for you too :)

I saw my psychiatrist today, he takes me seriously and is very good at his job. I am now on mood stabilizers, have been referred to a commuinity psychiatric nurse and the crisis team. He also thinks I may have a mild form of bipolar disorder.
YAY!! !
That is good news!

I'm on carbamazepine. They make me feel extremely tired and drowsy.

The meds I'm on made me very sluggish as well. Stick it out for a couple months. Your body and mind will adjust. :)

I did some similar some years ago. Tried to kill myself by taking a bunch of pills too and ended up in the hospital.

Just wanted to let you know that I felt like it was impossible that things would get better at the time, but it did eventually.

I hope you feel better soon. Don't give up.

Thanks for your advice. I'm trying to survive life, but every day brings a new hurdle. I'm trying to survive my parents and college right now and hope I come out on top of it all.

College, as opposed to university? In the U.S. college is synonymous with university, but it's different in the British school system I attended, because I went to a college at 15, or so as well. Might have been a different system, then, not sure. Then when one is about 18 or 19, one can go to university.

I hope you can survive the rigors of school and home... it's tough if you don't have much of a sanctuary, somewhere. I hope you have something like that.
