Update:

I called JD66's owner yesterday and have a meeting with him today. He mentioned that he is willing to have me work at his junkyard to pay off the price, and he's also willing to work with me on payments and what-not. Hopefully this will work out.

great!! ! :D i was thinking about pmming you about jd66 and the owner, its really cool that hes allowing you to work at his junkyard, never know what you find in them places.

when things do work out and jd66 becomes yours, will you put him on youtube?? i seen that you have youtube channel, i am JLD902 (no videos) so feel free to add me if you want,

speaking of combines i was watching RFD-TV last night and seen that some people (its held in lincoln Nebraska) shown off their harvester combines on a show called classic tractor fever. i think one was a JD (not sure of model) and other was an IH (international harvester)

good luck and hope all works out,

It seems that most modern humans don't appear to have a soul, judging by the way that they act towards their fellow beings.

I agree... and LePetitPrince has no right to troll in this thread.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Yea but that doesn't mean that objects are alive, objects are not lifeforms.

They may not be a living being in the physical or logical sense, but the human mind easily turns it into perceiving it as such. For instance, as shown earlier in the topic, members of the crew of a vessel can get quite emotionally attached to the ship. This almost seems to be "expected" for sea bearing vessels, yet people appear to not be able to accept people becoming attached to other objects like road going vehicles or other forms of machinery?

In my opinion, the more time spent around an object of personal value the more sentimental value it gains. I particularly think this is true if the person is involved with the object in some way or form (e.g. maintaining or fixing said object) and eventually a personality can begin to be perceived as the person learns the good and bad points of the item. In a way, the object develops a character of its own since it is the only one to be like it as it ages, the only one to have the history that it does etc.

I don't wish to begin discussing "Souls" as it can get very complicated when there are some pure-logic thinkers about. No offence intended to those of you who are almost like the pointy ear kind.

You seem used to watch the Amazing little toaster a lot when you were kid.

What was the point in posting that? To hurt people? Honestly, I really hope it wasn't because you think you can change the way I feel or believe. That won't happen. There's no point in posting things like this. Sorry.

I was giving some positive news. You obviously live a very negative life. I feel bad for you.

On a side note:
I met with JD66's owner today in person, and it looks like everything is going to work out. :D

So what? The combines destroy eachother, and they probably make more money from people attending those kinds of shows than it costs to rebuild/re-purchase them.

Are you also one of those people that got emotionally outraged when people were posting videos of themselves smashing up Xbox 360s and Playstation 3s (on launch day) outside in front of fans waiting in line?

Again, you're not going to change my views. No point in posting things like this.

If you're going to get offended by people who make posts that disagree with your point of view, I'm afraid you picked the wrong forum.

I don't care if people disagree. It's when they're rude about it that it bothers me because it seems that the only purpose they do it is to hurt others.
