Religion might really contain an element of sadism if it promises eternal reward above the suffering of the damned.

As if the damned weren't real people.

what a weird question...

DEATH does NOT FIX a PROBLEM.

it ERASES you, and then creates new problems for everyone left, but those cease to exist when it comes to the one who's now dead.

people seem to think DEATH is like some VACATION TO FIJI or something, IT IS NOT.

for "pete's" sake, cant people understand this? ever since the dawn of time, people have offed themselves to solve some problem "dang, my life really sucks. ill fix it by exploding my brain. that's surely gonna make everything better again!"

I rarely felt good after being insulted for mentioning suicide.

awesome outlook!

when you have finally visited every country, and then feel suicidal again, you can make it your mission to visit every oppressive country :D just go on tour!

50 MG of Zoloft taken every night. If I stopped my meds, I'd be on a self-destructive streak to oblivion.

:o remember to pick up the "sigil stones"! !!

SORRY SORRY :] :] :]

ive never been on meds. i got past the worst of my depressions through intense re-directioning of my emotions, sometimes i would just sit on my bed and SHAKE with rage and fury.
i dunno if that did it

i feel good now, and i havent been depressed in many years

Sometimes there is no easy fix for a problem. We're on the wrong planet here, sir, and it is a persons right to leave if they want. Just being born isn't in itself a reason to stay.

The main reason for me is the fact the it will drive my parents into depression. The only other reason I can think of is so I can be alive at the time people are walking on Mars and to see what technology is like in 50 years time.

I have never understood that. I think mine is the fear of going to hell.

I wish I never had that fear. Then I would be happier because I am dead.

Me from suicide? nothing, but nothing pushes me enough for me to try. I despite my "Bipolar" crap am basically a "Flat-line" in emotions.

My children would be too sad and also, I am always curious to know what is the next awful (or good) thing that might happen to me next - thats a joke by the way :P

I always think suicide is something most of us on the spectrum just haven't done yet rather than something that might cross our minds if life gets tough.

Happily, the older I get, the more I seem to enjoy life despite everything so the risk for me is a lot lower now. I think.

the thing that keeps me from committing suicide is the fact that i have no reason to commit suicide.

That too, is another reason for me, but then I like being picked on and treated like a sub-human.
