This is a case of things getting out of hand.

It’s nobody’s fault. It’s everybody’s fault.

I believe it’s “clean slate” time.

I think after all the vandalism and social distance breaches nobody on WP is supporting BLM anymore Bric...do we even have AA members on this forum??

don't know where you get the 100% number from?

If we don't (or have very few), might it be fair to suggest the general attitude of hostility might have something to do with that?

There's black posters, but I don't know if any are American.

There are more black posters here than meets the eye. Many are Americans. Most de-emphasize their “blackness” in favor of a more universal personhood.

What matters here is that the point has been clearly illustrated to Alex and all of us, that political discussions should be strictly monitored and stringently contained in PP&R and News &CA so that it will not contaminate every other discussion.

American Politics are so volatile at the moment, we must tread very carefully in order to protect all diverse points of view, and vigilently preserve freedom of speech and inoffensive discourse.

I fully agree with Kraftie and Teach. And politics has NO place in the Haven and we should in fact be removing such.

One thing that ignited passions was the statement that all who would vote for Trump in 2020 are racists.

I would never vote for Trump...not even close.

The problem is that people frequently don’t think beyond a certain level. Republicans frequently vote for the Republican candidate no matter who the Republican nominee is. They’d probably vote for Biden were he the Republican candidate.

My in laws are republican and they are not voting for Trump this year. I have no idea if they voted for him in 2016.

(MOD NOTE) Please, no more political debating on this Haven thread. Off topic. This is about making Sly feel welcome here.

It's nice to have goals...Sadly, the actions of some people here (including Alex) may have made that exceedingly difficult...
