Fourier transforms?
i am no puter guru but i believe that is behind all the DSP audio work i've been doing for so many decades now. i'm told that without FFT it would likely be a lot harder to do the digitization or conversion of the audio into a form that can be deconstructed cleanly enough.
I remember constructing an FFT program in GWBASIC back in the early 1980s.  What used to take days (or even weeks) of slide-rule analysis would then take more time to print out (at 1200 baud on a serial printer) than to actually solve!

those were the heady early digital days. i remember when the first BASIC puters came to my neck o' the woods via radio shack in 1976, that was the first time i'd seen a PC before, and i remember all those typed commands seemed arcane to me. the store manager was a maven for it however, and when he got his other tasks done sat down at the thing and for long periods typed like a machine on it. i don't know what he was making other than he told me it would help him run his store better. the only reason i am using a puter in the first place was that it became a lot more automatic [no typing of commands, all GUI] and also because i can't do what i do any other way.

I haven't been sleeping well - a few hours a night, for the last 4 to 5 nights.
My brain isn't working well, and I feel overwhelmed.

(((mp)))

I was feeling like that until I crashed out last night for 12 hours. Now I feel like I wasted too much of my day. Go away sleep, sleep is for the (work) week.

When -10, 10 and a 0 does not make it a sum of 0.

My personal theory is that if humanity can accommodate the needs and development of all entirety of the autistic spectrum continuum, then humanity could most likely can accommodate 99% of the entirety of humanity.
If humanity can accommodate the entirety of neurodiversity, then humanity can accommodate itself entirely.

To deny neurodiversity of it's existence and it's benefits perpetuates ignorance.

-7 So. Much. Waiting. Two weeks until my next doctor appointment, in the meantime I just have to keep putting up with all the anemia-related stuff. Barely have the energy to do anything. Plus I learned that it is entirely possible to have celiac disease without any GI symptoms, so actually there’s a good chance that is what’s causing my anemia, and I really don’t want to have to give up gluten, plus checking the labels on absolutely everything to make sure it’s gluten-free and also not manufactured on equipment that also handles gluten-ey things. I’m a picky enough eater as it is, I don’t need to be restricting my diet even further.

There are times anxiety is one of the very few that can seem to be the only force to give me enough 'fire' next to fear and anger...

But there's not enough fire for me, yet everyone else does though unwillingly to the point it's harmful and obstructing...

So how does one...
Willingly get a -5 to gain a 5+ out of it??
It happened it a few times, but it doesn't seem to be enough to observe thoroughly.

IMHO anxiety is a form of despair. the antidote to despair is ACTION.

In which, weird enough the word despair gave me an idea...
Something not too different from wanting to watch a thriller, but not too inconsequential to simply watch NSFW worthy media, yet also not enough to be a cause something too foolish or disproportionate.

Thanks?
