I’m feeling a bit nauseated because of the location where my neck lump is pressing against my throat (feels like something’s stuck in my throat but nothing is, it’s annoying at the best of times and has been interfering with my sleep because I need to find a position for my neck where I can feel it least), I’m really tired of this. Something else I’m really tired of is waiting (basically what I’ve been doing all year), but I have to wait until at least Monday to get the results of my blood tests and ultrasound (of the bothersome lump). Heard one of the ultrasound technicians say “She really needs a CAT scan” (hah, autocorrect tried to make it CAT scat  I wish it were that simple, then all I’d need to do would be scoop the litter box) while they were doing the ultrasound, so I guess I’m probably going to have to wait for an appointment for that and then wait for the results from that.

A CAT scan would definitely help in diagnosis.

I feel like the lovechild of Chris Wallace and Christopher Wallace.

Solid 8.

Father’s Day backyard bbq tmw w/ siblings and their families. Should be good.

Plus I swung by the shop where my social distancing machine is getting some repairs and upgrades & found out the insurance company authorized all brand new parts. That’s good news to me! Pretty much unheard of, but they dropped the ball so hard they’re kissing my ass to make sure I don’t badmouth them on social media at a time when they least need bad press. Works for me!

But the best news of the day has to be that teens across America trolled trump by reserving ~1 Million tickets to his rally then only several thousand people showed up. Def what tips me over from 7-7.5 into solid 8 territory for sure. 8)

Only tangentially related, but I really wanted to do that song for karaoke at camp this year (except that the camp was cancelled for this year because of all the COVID-19 related stuff).

Big dragon hugs.

8. I still have chronic pain in my shoulder, so today I decided 'heck it, i'm going to work out anyways'. And immediately I got a massive mood boost after workouts. It's always like night and day. I'm not going to lift weights with my left arm for as long as the pain remains though. Unfortunately I can't rely on my comfortable sleep position anymore as the pain is present in all positions now. But for whatever reason there is no pain when I first get into bed, but then I wake up 2 hours later as the pain returns with a vengeance during sleep. I would then get up and walk around until the pain subsides, then I would get back to bed, and it's gone until 2 hours later. So my sleep is very fragmented, but I'm glad I'm still getting it at all.

"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope," Romans 5:3-4

"but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger;" 2 Corinthians 6:4

Politics, politics everywhere. It’s like it’s the only thing that exists now. Also pretty darn sure my lump (which actually is a conglomeration of smaller lumps, with one small-ish (in comparison) lump that edged around in front away from the others) is nothing good, or even anything benign. It only just struck me tonight how dang big the mass is, and the one that’s separated a bit is round instead of elliptical, which is not a good sign. Gotta wait until at least tomorrow to possibly get any real answers, probably later because I’m probably going to need a CAT scan to get a better look at Lump and Company.

-5. My ear infection has already gotten worse throughout the day and it's making my jaw joint hurt. If I have to take antibiotics again I feel like I'm going to become the next antibiotic-resistant bacteria vector. :|
