Torn between -3 to +3

I can't tell if I'm feeling excited or impatient. Ordered a set of new glasses and a touch screen stylus -- I kinda want it now. :shameonyou:

i unfortunately didn't get to see the falls,,i just passed through the area on the I90 from seattle to cle elum (what a name) on my way to wenatchee.

i am used to the drier, browner chaparral climate of socal (which can itself be beautiful of course), so seeing such large mountains so close to me, STILL SNOW-TOPPED IN JUNE an covered in dark green was a first. i enjoyed the coolness thanks to elevation.

i'll be back though.

the LS took it like a champ although it has been doing this thing where it SLOWS DOWN when going downhill, in gear and OD, unless the grade is very steep. maybe it has always done that and i just didn't notice, i don't usually drive on hills

Some guy on Facebook stream of protest says him and others are going track down any of the haters and stab them to death :(

More reason to never leave my house and if so carry my gun.

I'm not sure in terms of number, but my breathing is f****d and I constantly feel like I'm short of breath. I don't think I've gotten over the potential CoVID-19/bronchitis that took me out back in March and it's really hard to record the sort of vocals I like when you're constantly struggling to breath.

I need new glasses, I'm sick of just gluing mine back together every few weeks.

Besides that, I've got 9 days without work coming up. Hopefully I'll be able to see Abena while we're both off.

I'm probably going to 'sign off' on my current mixtape at the end of shutdown, so expect that soon.

I do not know if I should be sad or glad.

My mom wishes that she won't live past age 75. I understand why.

This understanding made me happier -- happy enough to cry about it.

Than the sadness, or whatever lingering reason to be glad about -- or any bittersweetness of the intent -- of the very prospect and the inevitable outcomes that she wishes her time will be limited for her own and her children's sake.

It's rather insane.
I'm happier about understanding something deep from her for once, than to be sad about her wish along with it's own certainties and uncertainties.

5 - I've never felt so disoriented before. Don't feel like myself. This is Day 5 of being completely deaf. I woke up Sunday morning like this. Completely out of the blue. Doc is sending a covid test kit, as she says others have had the same symptoms. Just need to rule it out. To not be able to hear music on YouTube even at full volume is a shock to the system!

dragons and demons - huge hugs ... you're going through so much right now...
Is - sending hugs and hope you're okay. You are very missed. You need to be where you need to be. Health and well-being is sacred.
Hugs for HeroOfHyrule - hope your ear infection is clearing.
AB - glad your left ankle is letting you use it again.
funeralxempire - hope your breathing i proves soon(that's a worry!). I experience the same, and thought I'd maybe already had it too. 9 days without work sounds just what you need!
sly - sorry you've been feeling so down and that you're having to deal with customers who treat you this way.
domineekee - hope you feel happier soon. -3 is not good.
Edna - if only we could keep the ones we love with us always. Maybe we kind of do though, as even when they pass, my experience is that they are still with me...
SecretOpossumCabal - hope your shoulder pain clears up soon(one year of it coming back off and on is annoying, and having it last a month ... know what that's like. I needed anti-inflammatories for a torn shoulder ligament once.
Syd - congrats on being hired by Amazon! Hope they treat you well and that you settle into it well.
Kip - hope you had a good birthday!
