You can take online courses these days, or just read books, for the education. That way you wouldn't have to hobble across a campus on 4 and a half toes with a heavy load of books on your back.

Wrong. His refusal to face reality hurts HIM.

ASS-P, it is my understanding from your older posts that you did go to college for two years. You must have completed one year to get in to year two. If it wasn’t NYU what college was it? And I expect your mother wanted you to be a success at day to day college before going off to an in residence college. I expected the same for my own child.

Really. Electric wheelchairs are bulky and very expensive. Where would you keep it and plug it in? How could afford to buy one?

I hear you - I had life goals that didn't end up being feasible either, and I know that's hard to come to terms with. It's completely understandable you'd want to get away from an abusive home situation as a teenager, and I wish things could have been different for you.

Yes, I am a realist, and tend to be more concerned with basic medical and housing needs. But I'm certainly not against working toward your college goals - and in fact college is far more likely to happen if you have stable housing and are in good health, so my 'realism' is not necessarily in conflict with your agenda here :D

BS. This isn't a situation where I'm always a thug. I watch those videos to hear someone tell me what I will be up against, so that I will know what to expect, not to discourage myself, or you.

But I'm glad to hear you're serious about the education aspect, and Robin has made fantastic progress in ascertaining that they DO in fact have your transcripts, and are willing and able to assist you with that issue. Whether having your own personal copy is 'official' or not, at least we now know they're not completely lost, so that's excellent news.

Not meaning to diminish Robin's success, but it was really a simple matter of him being patient and persistent in achieving a goal, rather than giving up because he ran into difficulties with it at first.

...My, Ezra, touchy   ? So you are " always a thug " at times? Ezra Shakur, yo!
I am not very oriented towards extended TT videos, anyway. All I have, remember, is a teeny-tiny portable phone, and I have all but no access to even the library computers, it being so hard to get there. I basically tend to not watch extended things on YT, just music...which you don't " watch " so much. Holding up a teeny phone and looking at something on it, on its tiny screen...it's a bit much. I don't have a laptop or a desk computer, where you can watch something TV-style at length...Basically, I'm always in bed, and gave to strain myself, holding up the phone to look at it.
So, watching 1/2-hour vids on YT?Somewhat of a strain. :x

No you're the touchy one. You'd accuse an 8 year old girl scout of bullying you.

And remember I also have a piece of s**t phone, with a cracked screen :x  And also a severe coordination disability which makes it hard to type and also cripples my walking  I have too many sob stories of my own, to shed many tears over yours :x

Btw, it was only a 3 minute video :x that I watched on my cheap generic phone with the busted screen

...I am aware of your greater degree of handicapped mess than I, Ezra, and you have mentioned the cracked-screen phone as well. I do not know whether that phone is the only tech in your household that you can watch anything on. My phones are that wiith me.
I will admit, too, given that I am older, I haven't so much made the transition to watching vids on the Web for instructional/discussion thing. I suppose it's something you grew up with. I am more readinf-oriented, for intake of a arguments. I didn't call you a bully :( .
Now, I think I will try to watch something at length on YT that I've always said I'd watch - an episode of this famously crappy 50s TV show, " Queen For A Day ", a surviving episode on YT. However. I'll likely close my eyes and listen to the audio  .

At least you have 2 phones  I only have this ONE PHONE. :x with a busted screen  I only have one cheap busted phone at a time because I keep breaking them because of how crippled my hands are  It seems clear that you're trying to discourage me from watching even a 3 minute video on it :x And that you hate me and I'm scum for daring to mention my problems :x.

...Ezra, the last two sentences of your post are - a bit much. You are trying to parody my posting style, I suppose.
To be Mr. Literal here, I certainly do not want to discourage you from. watching anything! And I don't " think your scum ", not at all, and speaking of your problems is just fine.
I think you are displaying this tendency you have towards leaping into big arguments here.
Now, I am going to listen to another Queen For A Day episode. It was hosted by Jack Bailey.

Yeah I think your whole routine is an act. Your problems may be as real as mine are, but your posting style as you put it is obviously a crafted charade.
