If it's any consolation, most mods don't think highly of me, either. So I cut back how much I post on here, because the Wrong Planet I once knew is dead and gone. It became very similar to the NT society it once provided a refuge from. I actually have to rely on "passing" skills to appease the popular opinion.

Unless changes are made to re-attract the members that helped build WP, it will go the way of Altavista and MySpace.

Some do come back, if only to lurk. Most likely don't participate because it's hard to have ongoing and meaningful discussions on any subject when both trolls and snowflakes are constantly derailing threads.

Sure, a little humor now and then breaks the tension (see "Blue Nun", above); but why go off on religious, political, and philosophical tangents (for example) when there is already another subforum set up just for that purpose?

I could be mistaken but isn't that how the majority of autistic minds work ? It's how mine works.

i can stay on track as long as i'm not distracted. but once i am distracted it almost takes an act of congress for me to be able to find my groove again.

I too have a hard time getting back on track once I'm distracted
I can usually get easily distracted in a conversation, and that makes me forget a lot of what I meant to say, both in speech and in writing, even if I'm just writing a letter, PM or post. It's frustrating.
