Maybe. I was away for a while due to personal issues, but saw she was no longer reachable by PM and hadn't been posting. I just hoped she was doing well.

Oh Okay. She's not receiving PM's.

I guess she felt the need to take a break.

She's been having trouble accessing Wrong Planet, unfortunately.

Came over to ask where Milady was and if she was doing okay. Miss her nice and funny posts on the forum. Hope she'll be back soon

Oh guys, oh guys, I haven't been able to even access the site since the day after I last posted. Kept getting "Forbidden" messages, and even when I tried http:// mode some blasted thing switched it to https:// and I couldn't get in. Took my machine in for serious malware check, they found something but it was minor, and I still couldn't get in.

I'd given up, and was making a purely token attempt, and it worked.

I'm so sorry. There's been a lot going on - I've had a couple minor injuries, a medical emergency separate from that (bad: a spider bite that I didn't know had happened, that turned into a nasty skin infection - like a milder version of fasciitis - but I caught it in time - they still give people shots in the tail end, ask me how I know, antibiotic and steroid, yes driving home was *fun* because, uh, both sides of my backside were, uh, affected, but *I have my leg*), some nasty car things, and everything in my garden is sick or dying.

I kept telling myself I'd try to log in through the souped up Google Chrome at my local library, but then I kept chickening out because I was afraid of malware getting on their computer - it's one thing to mess up my own machine, quite another to mess up a public-access one that people might need desperately. My poor library, they're on a shoestring as it is, messing up their stuff would be unconscionable.

I am stunned to even be able to type this and scared to death that I'm going to end up locked out again. Um... I did take a break from PMs but I thought I turned them back on, so I'll go fix that now, and if people want an email address for me I can share the one that I've given to Kura, so she doesn't have to "broker" anything (edit in: PMs are on now, so you can PM me for the address.)

(speaking of which, huge hugs Kura for letting folks know, I've been just sick about my inability to explain this)

You guys don't know.... I felt like Tom Hanks on that island, like I'd spend the rest of my life almost alone, talking to a volleyball and trying not to pester poor dear Kura to death.

Let me post this now and try to get PMs turned on and I hope to God this doesn't happen again any time soon... God I missed you all.

Hi, Llama again and gladly. Good to "see" you too, hope you are well and content, if not blissful.

I don't know about the computer issues - just looking at the recent posts, Lone isn't getting notifications and someone else has a profile error blocking his access to his profile - I guess maybe my problem was a combo of server migration shenanigans and PEBKAC issues (IT slang for Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair, i.e. the wetware, i.e. moi).

I wonder if browser compatibility issues are causing some of this? I refreshed mine yesterday and lo and behold, the next time I tried to visit here, I could.

Aaaaaand away I go again, we're having popcorn thunderstorms and I need to try to get out again before the next one arises...
