About an 8 right now. Got some good news, and a few glasses of a nice cabernet haven't hurt, either!

I'm around 8 myself. I took the day off from school and spent the day wandering the woods, sleeping, and playing my guitar and piano. I learned how to play "Trains" by Porcupine Tree on my relatively new acoustic guitar which is not yet named.

You are correct..., there’s always going to be a reply to an attack; the question is: which reply is the one that deflects it, rather than trades blows with it or runs away from it?

When a blow is deflected who is hurt the most?

It depends upon how the situation is handled and the orginal attacker. Those who are simply attacking for their own pleasure are not likely to be truly hurt. Those who are attacking out of instability are likely to be hurt with the responses generated.

In this case, things were not handled as maturely as possible, but that's to be expected. There are many people posting here; no matter how ideal the situation, someone is always going to respond. It is nigh impossible to coordinate replies, and nasty words are going to be exchanged.

However, when you attack someone, especially without any reasonable motive, you are setting yourself up for harsh comments. It is the risk that goes along with disagreeing with anyone. With attacking, it is almost certain. It's not tolerated, which is fairly obvious. When someone starts attacking, they forfeit the right to have their feelings spared.

Super duper tangible thought provoking stuff.

Perhaps…, the motives of those who attack without provocation are indeed an ambiguous assumption, and indeed we whom are “reasonable” see to it that we give a proportionate amount of force in return; I’d never accept that that’s a “wrong” action, it’s not fair on the victim or those whom care for the victim. The motives though, or better, the intent and the guilty mind offers a lot of insight in how we should reply; and since it's impossible to know what people intend with words that have no mindful connotation attached, is it best to assume the worst of people and what they say, is it best to assume the best of them or is it better yet to tread carefully given where we are located?

I'd never ask people to behave, respond or exert themselves in a particular way; but that doesn't mean there isn't a better way.

I may be a man, but as a friend, I've gotta say that I love you. Only as a friend, though. I respect people!

That's usually normal with AS. It's only a phase. I mean, you didn't do anything wrong, right?
