So we've been impacted by knowledge of the place we exist in? I find myself more awash in it than anything; there's a lot of universe to articulate as long as anybody feels like learning about it.
I dislike social sciences and defer myself to the natural sciences because their significance in the ultimate scheme of things exceeds those of artificial human sciences. By understanding natural principles and ignore the social sciences I think we grow our value as a human species. Perhaps maybe one day we can reverse aging and bring about biological immortality? Social sciences are useless because by their very nature, their solutions are temporary and ultimately limited to human interactions which will then, in turn, cease to be useful.
Now how is this relevant to the thread at hand? Well, by increasing the macroscopic influences of our knowledge, and understanding more of the natural sciences, we will unlock more answers to life's questions, which may be far more objective than the inferential-only realm of the social sciences.
