Once anti-ageing tech and pharmaceuticals go into full swing it will open up another can of worms on top of the one that is overpopulation.

Will there be waiting lists to have children? Will people still be "born"? How long will people be allowed to live for?
A plague would reduce overpopulation but I don't know if humanity needs it or deserves it.

We can probably establish colonies on the Moon, if the need arises.

I think we should be more pro-active in our space exploration.

Like that one movie where no one ages. So the government installs bombs in everyone at birth and gives you two years to live once over 18. Currency is time. You can earn more but have to spend it and when you run out its over instantly. The rich live for millions of years.

But tested still require regular shipments of resources same with Mars. We'd have to colonize a earth like planet.

Also currently moon dust destroys everything we send to the moon and if you breath it you're dead.
Science channel is on a lot at work

I am going to live on the moon or mars or if this happens in my lifetime. I would drop everything and everyone in a heartbeat. That would be spectacular. I want to be a space colonist.

Ya'll realize that in wealthy, edumacated countries where women have choices about what to do with their lives like men have, population is in decline, eh?
