No respect...I tried to explain to my husband I don't like the stuff he's watching on TV, and he responded with that I can't control what he watches on TV and it's not fair I get to watch what I want and he doesn't.... Uggghhh....

I sincerely doubt that whatever you watch causes him physical, emotional and psychological duress equivalent to what you would experience from PTSD triggers. I doubt your television choices give him nightmares, raise his heart rate, or cause panic attacks. His suggestion that there's a parallel between trauma and "not liking what you watch", is reprehensible. He needs to be educated about trauma disorders, and to stop being so cavalier about his remarks.
