I finally got some sleep for more than two hours last night (though I still had a night awakening but I went back to sleep) and had a massage to help ease my anxiety.

I haven't managed that since collapsing on Saturday. You don't know how jealous I am right now.

Apology accepted, btw. You’ve come a very long way and deserve to hear those words.

Annnd, also: I’d like to extend an apology to you, as well, for all of the times I intentionally antagonized you with my posts - definitely a dick move on my part to push your buttons like that and in hindsight I regret doing it & being a jerk towards you when it ought to have been crystal clear that even if you were in an angry frustrated mode yourself it still wasn’t nice of me to “poke the bear.” My bad. You deserve to hear all of that, too.

I do wish you well, Marknis, and do welcome communication about progress & improvement should you feel the desire to have such chats. :)

I’m having another massage after work today. However, I’ve fallen back into not sleeping well again.

I accept your apology, goldfish. I also shouldn’t have been antagonistic towards you.

I really miss being able to sleep without waking up unless it’s my alarm clock going off. My mind is suffering from the chronic night awakenings.

Have you tried changing your diet? writing down how you feel and let everything that's on your mind, out?
Have you tried taking multivitamins? mind you, i'm awake now and it's 5am here, need a better sleeping habit

I stopped eating ice cream for a long time and I attempted journaling a while back but I dropped the ball on it. I suppose I could try multivitamins but aren’t those more for energy rather than for rest?

They're mostly for 'non-specific health support' B-vitamins might cause you to feel a little energized but other components (like calcium and magnesium, iirc) might have calming effects.

My husband supplements Magnesium for better sleep, he claims it helps him.

When I have a hint of a migraine I use Yerba Mate tea and -for me- it generally clears it up (or lessens it). Interestingly, it has magnesium. I can sleep better without a migraine.

Vitamins and minerals is good for brain and body function but it also correlates into, how you feel! if you have more energy during the day, you're more likely to be restful at night
