Chinese restaurants are often open for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
This is what I usually eat on the holidays; myself and I prefer to be alone actually ... should be quiet.
I prefer to be alone, too. This year, I have to go pick up my oldest brother's wife at the assisted living center and take her to the family dinner. 70 miles round trip to get her and 70 miles round trip to take her back.
As far as the meal, I intend to skip the turkey. My niece is cooking and she cares nothing about food safety. The turkey for tomorrow is sitting out on the counter thawing. She thinks that because she has gotten away with that a couple of times ago, there is no danger and she can do it again. So I will probably only eat some vegetables there and then fix something when I get back.
