How can I not like someone who reminds me of what I've seen?

I like people who walk through hell and survive....

Whether they’re “bad” or “good" people; it doesn’t matter to me.

6. The concert is coming up and right after that, I have a lot of homework to do. Plus, I feel kind of left out on this website again. The feeling just goes on and on. I really didn't want to get into the debate between Soph and Ragtime.

Don't worry about it Yoshie, I think you only made a couple of comments in there, so I doubt you annoyed anyone or anything like that. :)

I used to feel like that, posted a thread about it in the Haven, and got a lot of responses by people feeling the same. I think everyone feels a bit (or a lot) left out, at first. You'll fit in later. If it makes you feel any better, I've noticed your comments around here and I think they're pretty sensible.

My number is about a 7 now. Guitar lesson is over, and although I know I didn't do well at all, it's not bothering me. (Hmm, that's odd.) My dad offered to buy me a new guitar, and although I turned it down the thought is nice. Plus we got a new laptop, which is mine. :) I can't play games on it, but it's portable and I can do this site and homework. Yay!

Thanks, RainSong. I'm just trying to be more of a friend than an enemy here. This is partly the reason why I avoid arguments. Living with AS can be hard on all of us and because I am only high functioning, I should be supportive of you all, no matter what background you guys have.

Around an artificial 6? Internet was down most of the day, that really got to me. Being "disconnected" drives me up the wall. I was really irritable earlier. Now that it is back, and now that I'm drinking a 1:1 mixture of everclear and coffee (Compared to 2:1, supposedly the recipe for Norwegian Coffee or "Karsk,") I'm doing pretty good. Artificial, but good nonetheless. Time stands still when you want it to go by fast, and moves quickly when you want to enjoy it. A bit of the former now, mixed with a healthy dose of anxiety and paranoia. Difficult to stay calm when you want it to be about a month ahead of the date it is, but you don't know how well that will go.

Well, after this cup of the crude mixture I should be feeling really good. Then to decide if I want more so I can just pass out, or if I want food. Not sure yet. Maybe food then more?

This daily "routine" is driving me a bit crazy. Doing nothing, unable to do anything, waiting for an event that I don't know if I really want to happen or not, fearing it and yet excited about it, with the being excited being rare enough for me, hard not to be a bit frayed at the ends...

I've noticed I get "talkative," or at least more open, when I'm drunk. I kind of like that, I kind of fear it.

I just want to say that I was actually thinking about you
I didn't see you in that thread and I was wondering if you were there but lurking 8) and I just thought that I should have done the same thing, but I wanted to help Soph

Just be yourself. That's all we ask around here. We're pretty forgiving of any errors (I haven't actually seen you make one either, so you've started on the right track at least).

Well, I've made more errors than you think. For one thing, I accidentally insulted Soph, Kilroy, Mitch, and GreenBlue a couple of times by saying that I'm homophobic. After those comments, I wanted to change what I said, but the damage was already done. Most of it is in the Adult Issues category, so that's probably why you haven't seen it. By the way, can I be friends with you as well? After all, the more the merrier.

As long as you aren't hateful or insulting about it, that shouldn't be a problem. Everyone's entitled their own opinion. You don't have to like someone else's opinion, and they don't have to like yours. As long as there's a certain level of mutual respect, there shouldn't be a problem.

You can disagree with how someone is or what someone does without being hateful towards them and without insulting them. You don't have to like it, they don't have to like it...I'm repeating myself. Thanks, bottle o everclear....

Oh yeah, random edit, I've got no problem with homosexuality. If anything, it has benefited me. Just another thing me and a cousin of mine have in common, we both like women. Her girlfriend is pretty attractive.
