Everything about the concept of "family" utterly repulses me. Even typing it grates, and I would never use that word out loud. I wish everyone would stop acting as if this is universally the most precious, wonderful, meaningful thing to everyone alive, and stop going on and on about it as the summit of all importance in human life so constantly.

I agree! I don't care about Harry Potter and everybody's stupid Netflix "movie or show of the week!" It's all so depressing! Let me talk about my cat and my tennis, things that make me happy and are positive. I hate dark, depressing "entertainment."

I have family coming to visit for the first time in a year. I should be excited, but I'm not.

I'm seeing my mom, dad, and brother, and we're taking an exciting trip out of state and seeing places we've never seen. I should be thrilled. But I'm not.

It isn't that I don't want to go. I'm not nervous about the trip. I'm not unhappy to see them. I just don't care.

I don't know why, either. I should be thrilled, chomping at the bit to go, counting down the days. But I just truly don't give a single f**k.

I guess depression is setting in that bad.

^ Eh, I've been on anticonvulsants and tramadol once and I'm still alive.
And you pretty much summed up my life in a nutshell above. We should meet and fail together some day.
Right now I am sitting in the parking lot, forced out of actually working at adult education class because someone insists on sitting in the classroom eating incredibly loudly with her mouth open and SUCKING on a drink bottle and because of misophonia I'm forced out of the room & unable to work because I cannot stand the noise.
And you can't SAY anything to her either, because she's intellectually disabled. Well guess what, autism is a disability too, and her doing that makes me unable to work with my auditory processing problems. But that doesn't matter apparently. I'm forced out into the carpark to rant about it here until she finishes masticating her food at an incredible volume before I'm allowed to actually do my work.
Yes I'm bad tempered. I've been an inch from total rage since the last car accident. I cannot tolerate other people right now.

It's the "whatever" I mixed it with that's spinning me out.
