Stupid to ignore history. Flagrantly stupid to ignore what's happening right now.

Everything about the concept of "family" utterly repulses me. Even typing it grates, and I would never use that word out loud. I wish everyone would stop acting as if this is universally the most precious, wonderful, meaningful thing to everyone alive, and stop going on and on about it as the summit of all importance in human life so constantly.

I agree! I don't care about Harry Potter and everybody's stupid Netflix "movie or show of the week!" It's all so depressing! Let me talk about my cat and my tennis, things that make me happy and are positive. I hate dark, depressing "entertainment."

I have family coming to visit for the first time in a year. I should be excited, but I'm not.

I'm seeing my mom, dad, and brother, and we're taking an exciting trip out of state and seeing places we've never seen. I should be thrilled. But I'm not.

It isn't that I don't want to go. I'm not nervous about the trip. I'm not unhappy to see them. I just don't care.

I don't know why, either. I should be thrilled, chomping at the bit to go, counting down the days. But I just truly don't give a single f**k.

I guess depression is setting in that bad.
