Possibly. Is this person still alive? Was a police report ever filed? In some states there is no statute of limitations on rape.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the person who raped you became a jailbird, rather than a college student.

What you're doing is speculation which, I believe, won't be of value to you in the end.

From what I have read of his posts, this rape took place when he was in his teens, making it about 40 years ago or so. Most states do have a 7 year statute of limitations on felonies other than murder. Also, its likely the person is in fact dead by now given the amount of time that has passed. And no, its unlikely that this was ever reported. He has said that his parents wouldn't even let him talk about it.

It's normal to look back on life and wonder what could have been. Particularly when life has not gone the way we would have liked. I am very sorry that you were subjected to the things you were subjected to. They should not have happened.

Yes, an Aspie can be born into a loving environment and still be an Aspie. An NT can be born into a screwed up environment and still turn out NT (albeit with issues). For those of us born both as Aspies and born into screwy environments, I think we're doubly messed-up.

Ive looked at his posts going back years. He has been offered ways out of this existence of his some by people here. But he either doesnt do it or screws it up because of hygene related issues or because the people helping out wont let him do it all his own way. He wastes money on stuff he doesnt need and crys for its loss. And this continuing pipe dream of going to uni makes things worse. My conclusion is that this life of his is self made and self inflicted.

You're the newest one in a long line of people who have drawn the same conclusions, as I'm sure you've observed. And that this is just one out of dozens of similar 30-40 page threads going back a decade. I've decided it's probably best to either pander or just not say anything.

Perhaps I should just go wait to die instead. in an institution/whatever :( . That, I guess, would be " sensible " :( . Returning to you hectoring me about not having moved fast enough to apply. you want me to not go, yes :? You do not know many of the circumstances that have slowed me down - A big part of it I have not spoken of here at all :( .
