I have a feeling he's pulling in that tummy too, lol. "Hhhhrruuh! Yeah! And did ya check out my art?" :lol:

I like the way his easel looks like he chopped the legs off of John Lennon's white piano. :lol:

If this is true, then I am both shocked and deeply sad.. does angry and confused count? I think it does.

I hope the incurable becomes curable for you, and in the meantime you are putting to bed some of what you want to do in life. I also hope its too soon to be thinking about bucket lists, before any final diagnosis can be made.

The Pope and Rachael Welch are on a lifeboat...

Yada, yada, yada...

She says, "Those aren't buoys!"

I don't get it.

Is it just about her boobies? Got anything funnier by chance? That just didn't do it for me. :mrgreen:

I have but two words of advice; carpe diem.

“Smile while you’re making it;
Laugh while you’re taking it;
Even though you’re faking it,
Nobody’s gonna know....”

--O Lucky Man (1973)

The woman who loved this quote shared it with me when I was 16 years old. She taught me more about living life than any therapist ever did. She took me from being a selectively mute kid (with yet unrecognized autism) to someone who ended up being friends with celebrities, meeting world leaders, and even writing some laws about how people should treat each other fairly.

I don't share this quote often; just when it needs to be shared.

I feel very down.
Like an extreme emotional weakness in my whole body.
I expect I will pick up again presently.
I didn't feel like this before.
I felt more hopeful.
Kind of delayed reaction?

Thanks for your posts, everyone :heart:
They've been helping.

I've been feeling down too, betrayed by my body. I had a mini-stroke a few days ago, and now I have a list of do's and don't's as long as your arm; but mainly, anything I want to do is now forbidden. I'm trying to be strong enough to take care of my aging husband. This mini-stroke is my reminder that I could go any time. I've always assumed he would die first, but now I'm afraid I could leave him in decline with no one to take care of him. Maybe even worse, both of us so debilitated that we would need to go into nursing homes for months.

I know this situation does not compare with yours, Raleigh, but the feeling of being overwhelmed, being betrayed by fate, and seeing myself get worse instead of better, must have some parallels.

I like the advice you were given a few posts back: Carpe diem. I'm trying to take that advice myself.

^ :heart:

I have 6 months without treatment.
14 months with treatment.
I don't know which to choose.
I don't think my body will be strong enough for treatment.

Don't listen to how long man says you'll be around, only God determines our existence not man. I won't preach at you but bear that in mind in your decision. You could a have day or you could have 20 years, am I suppose to be believe that cancer has any power over something that can split the seas? God or no, all things are possible in the universe. I would not take that crap from them, tell them your live as long as you damn well please.

I hurt so much I feel like I'm dying now.
I don't know how to get out of this pit.

Try the advice in my post. It is more than simply a quote. :wink:
